Tuesday's Oprah show is about how 1 in 3 women use porn and features an interview with Violet Blue, author of Smart Girls' Guide to Porn.
Of course, I wish they'd interviewed ME but beggars can't be choosers.
When even Oprah starts talking about it, you know you've finally made it. I'm hoping for a big surge in traffic :)

I was emailed by a woman from Harpo Productions to be interviewed, but got the email too late, they had already taped the show. :(
I was nervous, but after writing a response to an article about woman and porn on her online magazine, saying I was a woman in the industry, they wanted to talk to me. I think you would have been a much more eloquent speaker, I was afraid I'd mumble through it, lol.
I'm hoping for a big surge too, and you know where I send a lot of mine too. ;)

I hope someone puts it up on youtube, since I don't have TV anymore, I can't watch the show.

So is CFNM a niche that is targeted to men, or women, or both?

I think Oprah has gone wackadoodle, but Red Cherry if you ever miss a show, you can go to the site and on the main page is what looks like Oprah's talking points which pretty much covers the show sans tears. Which in my opinion is much better. Oh and there is a comment section and twitter thing where you can add your site.
I don't have TV anymore
Is there a reason for this?

I think it depends on how you spin it. It can certainly be both.

CFNM was originally a thing designed for women however major porn companies turned it into a kind of femdom, male humiliation thing for a male audience, which wasn't the original intent of CFNM. So it depends on the site. I personally don't consider those "drunk girls and male stripper" sites to be CFNM.
I ended up making a completely separate category for CFNM since it didn't really seem to fit in for woman or for men but yet did seem to somehow be for both men and women.

I was going to do this too, but not enough submits.

'twas an interesting show.
Nice that at the end, Oprah suggested that the women all start talking to their girlfriends about porn.

TRUE CFNM .. i mean the real hardcore focused CFNM is all about male humiliation and even borders on soft femdom. Of course it has also been mainstreamed and you see sites that are just party sites with clothed girls and naked guys and stuff like that which is a spin off but not the true core of the niche.
Just like TRUE Voyeur is ultra realistic and even daring invasion style content that doesn't look remotely staged ... unforunately rules out 95% of Voyeur sites on the web. They still sell, but they aren't appealing to the true focused voyeur fans who crave the real thing.
Watched it. Found it interesting when Jenna mentioned how guys only go for the girls that are on there. Fail. Shit one of the best sites I promote is Mandingo and while he fucks a ton of pornstar chicks a lot of the straight dudes are there to watch his cock go to work on the girls. I don't get it, but I just know that's why it is selling. There a lot of women and gay dudes that are joining the site as well. But, point is guys are going to the site to watch mandingo fuck.
The stat of 1 in 3 women is watching porn seemed pretty big to me.
Found it strange that then a good chunk of the show was talking about and seeing Jenna's life after being a pornstar. While maybe a little interesting it was a little off topic. Thought it should have maybe stuck more to other woman and how they use porn now. Even if it was just opera reading the emails sent it or something.

I don't think it's 1 in 3 women is watching porn, it's 1 in 3 porn surfers is a woman.
IE 33% of porn surfers are women.
Not 33% of women watch porn.

Wish I could have seen it. I'm waiting on a transcript. I think having an interview with Jenna Jameson wasn't really on topic and probably not helpful either. The comments on the forum were really very negative and I suspect your average soccer mum doesn't identify with a porn star like Jenna. Still, I'm sure it got a few other women interested enough to go surfing :)

Did Violet Blue really tell women to surf illegal tubes? 'Cos that's what it sounded like to me.

Yes, unfortunately she did. But she's long been an advocate of free stuff, a point on which we obviously have very differing views.

Women surfing for porn? With all the time they spend in the kitchen, it'll never catch on. :)

Is there a reason for this?
Yea to save money. :) When Direct TV was going to jack up our rates to almost $100 a month, without one pay channel, we'd had enough. Turned it off about 6 months ago.
I don't miss it, I rarely watched in anyways.

So is Oprah only on cable TV? She's on free to air here.
