But lately I'm trying to walk at least an hour, 6 days a week. Every morning I have a Rockstar energy drink. That has really helped, I think the vit B and taurine, two things I don't get as a vegetarian, more so than the caffine. For breakfast I have either oatmeal, or fiber1 cereal with yogurt and soy milk. Lunch I try to do a big huge salad. That way, I feel like I get to eat a lot for very little calories. I add pine nuts and/or low-fat feta for my protein to it. Dinner I sometimes do a Palak Paneer tv dinner (about 300 calories) or garden burger and veggies. Sometimes we go out to eat and I do a quesadilla and salad. So I'm trying to do a lot more veggies, less junk food. Although yesterday, i had a big bowl of chips and some cookies...must not bake those damn things again, I can't stay away. I'm trying to snack on pumpkin seeds, or veggies, but I had a tuff couple of days and I reach for food...my addiction. It is a really hard one to break, and why I go up and down within a 3lb range. |
I don't know if any of you are like me, but I'm a carb addict, and it reacts just like alcohol does to an alcoholic, once I eat some I want a LOT more. That is my biggest obstacle to dieting, I have to cut the carbs from everything but whole grains and veggies, or I set myself up to binge. I had a really rough day on Sunday, and I reached for food, and that is so hard to stop. I'm working on it, I'm glad there are others though by your up and down weight that struggle with eating too much too.

for years i did dieting counting the calories, now i do only low carb thing, still there are some issues with that, like the cholesterol thing (beats me how to write that in english, i just writed the word in dutch) and even you can drink alcohol low carb, still alcohol will keep pulling water from your body, if i drink diet coke with a low carb diet, i wont go to the toilet to pee as much when i drink just water, so a low carb diet does have issues and you have to watch them all, still with a low carb diet its handy you can switch to food you realy love or like,with calorie diet you cant, my food for day 3 will be for lunch a big piece of cheese, a boiled egg and a carrot, now boiled egg has no carb, if you have the right cheese it will have no carb too, only the carrot has a little carb thing say like 0.4gr, you have to eat the carrot because carrots will lower your cholersterol,also tomatoes do the same thing, so i get for calories about 450 inside my body, only for lunch, but for carb i get nothing, and you need the carbs for energy, so with a low carb diet and moving your butt, the kilos will fly away:D
And because i am still a bit upset about my grandma, i am moving my butt all day, i maybe sit on my fat ass one hour a day.......i have to get rid off my .........name it bad energy and then this is the right time to loose some weight and energy and i am painting and redecorating my ass off:D |

I forgot to bring my camera up with me & seeing as the last time I slept a day I gained 3 pounds I really see no need to put myself thru the process.
I did work out today & aside from the rash I have from my fat thighs rubbing together, I feel fucking GREAT |thumb |

I think there must be some gum on the inside of the scale dial.
It just sticks at 210 no matter what. Of course it does go back down to zero. And I guess it could stop before it got to the gum. Okay, fine, so it's 210, mark me down for it. |
I've gained back a pound and a half, binge eating yesterday, I'm too depressed about it to post a pic. I've had a rough week emotionally, and this is what happens. :( Still walking, but my diet is sucking. I'm 178.5.
