I have had a couple sponsors switch to other processors and my signups tripled immediately. I don't want to go any further into the details.

Welcome to the board :)

I'm perfectly happy with my CCBill sponsors. Ratios are as good as, if not better than, other processors.

And Mark keeps my drunk ass off the streets... ;)

I have some ccbill sponsors that convert tgp traffic at 1 in 300 and some 1 in 3000. It has more to do with the site than the processor, IMO.

That's what we did. We were CCBill only at first - switched to the cascade and sales jumped over 30% on the same traffic.

bingo

Welcome... and thanks for all the checks! :)

Can I ask if CCBill have plans to replace or enhance the cookie tracking system in the near future?

We are constantly testing the system and looking for ways to improve it, but since the addition of IP tracking there have not been any major changes planned.

Would be worth explaining how CCbill track affiliates traffic and what percentage might be possibly not tracked if you are able to.

CCBill_Paul 2004-09-27 07:07 PM

Opti,

We track affiliate traffic by by banner clicks, setting cookies, and gathering the ip. It is basically impossible to come up with a figure of traffic we are unable to track. Please hit me up if you wish to discuss this further.

Thanks Paul, but I don't have an issue with it, just that it was related to the subject of this thread and has been an often posted comment that there is some inherent flaw in your tracking when compared to a program using a system like NATS for example.. and thought it might be good for people in general to hear what the facts are from the horses mouth.

urb 2004-09-28 06:42 AM

I'm not knocking CCBill, I actually really do prefer to promote sites that use CCBill.

I've read a lot of posts about this NATS... what is it? An affiliate tracking system?

Ramster 2004-09-28 08:55 AM

NATS is the new kid on the block offering cascading billing and is in competition with MPA2.

This thread has gone in all kinds of directions, hasn't it? :)

I am in agreement that the site and using a cascading application has more to do with conversions than the processor you use.

Paul, are any changes planned for CCBill stats and tracking capabilities? I'd like to discuss this in more detail with you or someone involved with such changes.

Thanks!
