The simple solution is not for me to adjust but to find LL and WM who use an element of comman sense when reviewing (Im not sayin you guys dont) as its comman sense that really seems to be lacking on the internet.

First point - if you list everything thats submitted - I really cant wait to the time (if you get there) when your submit bin has 400 new sites every day - and then 2000 every day. There has to be a give and take to who gets listed and who doesnt - and thats "EACH" LL owners decision - not a group effort or common group of LL owners - and never will be because we are not an association or corporation together. I have very specific rules based on something that happened 4 or 5 years ago to me - Greenie has some rules in his list because of his experiences in 1998 - Every one of the LL owners has a different experience they bring to the biz - and base their own rules on that experience. A very good example - I dont allow people to submit from certain IPs and Hosts - I made that decision on percentages of cheating - wheras some other LL owners will list those same sites and allow them to cheat their surfers - its just a matter of opinion.

As far as the second point of using common sense - that has no place in a place of business - decisions should never be based on common sense - they should be based on facts if you want to succeed - if I make decisions based on common sense I would have to give up all of the things my company has afforded me, and I really like my "stuff" :)

Last point - and really just a piece of advice from one LL owner to another - when given suggestions from people that have been extremely sucessful at running LLs to the point of making an income that you probably wouldn't believe - I would listen to every word and take those suggestions and run with them. I've seen hundreds of LL owners, Free site submitters and TGP owners and submitters come and go like butterflies - and the only ones that stayed around and are still here - are the ones that not only took the advice given as fact, thanked that person and implemented them immediately in their own biz practices. Life is way too short to try to change others practices when that energy could be spent taking those lessons learned and following them to a tee - and make your own fortune :)

I agree with you apart from the comman sense part but hey we are all different. Wuth regard to advice and such from experienced webmasters I take lots of it on board and get a lot of input daily, you are right its good free advice which is not often published anywhere.

For what its worth I read this board more then I post as its down to advice I got here that took me from a single page geo cities site into a LL. I dont know how to justify my level of income in fairness I figure I make about £1,800 GBP per month at the moment which compared to the hours and effort is prob the equivilent of working in retail store.

What I guess I have learnt from this thread is I need to find LL which will acept what I produce and partner with them. mind you the simplest thing is to ajust my build.

Maybe one I will leave all these frustrations behind, I thought I had to be fair though much work is needed. As you say we ae never all going to have the same business practises as we are not linked. To me thats a shame as Im very much into communties - have a top weekend :-)

Ya know this is getting stupid.Your page had 4 outgoing links not 3.
This page has 5.Now WHY are you really arguing about a 3 link per rule page.
A link out is a link out.Its a no brainer, but it looks to me like no matter what anyone say
To you the sky is red and clear when to everyone else its blue and puffy clouds.
Its a matter of its mine follow my rules which is the common norm to most.
Not all but most 3 links out sponsor sponsor yours
Now what you accept on your site is your biz and vesa versa
I hope I made sense hahaha and it my 2 cents btw :)

NoChex,

It seems you have already made up your mind about everything... which begs the question.. why even post/ask?

what you wrote is bollocks to be honest, a blind link is one that says one thing and sends you else where.
Yes exactly.. you say "our" girls and it sends the surfer to another site.. that is blind!.

They aren't "your" girls....... they are "their" girls...... say that and it aint blind.. it's really quite simple.

"Click here now to see the video's of 'Real Escort Sex'"

If you click on the link you see free videos, I know this as the sponsor added one prior to me making this site
No you don't it goes to a pay site tour page - http://www.realpunting.com/affiliates/ - which has no videos on it.(and a crappy background image that doesnt fit properly)

Again all you have to do is be 'truthful' and everyone will accept it...

"Click here now to see the video's of 'Real Escort Sex' at Real Punting" - totally unblind!

I give up..... :(

You won't get many listings with that one, either; the first banner looks very much like thumbnails ~ blind links!

I can understand that you're getting upset by rejections, but I think you have cornered yourself and refuse to listen to sound advice!

If your idea of a "clean gallery" doesn's match the reviewers' ideas (notice: PLURAL!) then obviously there IS something wrong with your galleries. Why don't you start from a very safe point, submit that, build up a reputation, and then try to stretch the limits (step by step) until you get rejected again? If you start by earning rejections straight away you're only one step from being blacklisted, if you play it safe for while another rejection down the track wouldn't hurt too much...

Hi DD dont give up :-)

I see your point - BTW that last site is not mine - anyhow going back to this tour thing there is a video with the tour

http://www.realpunting.com/affiliates/preview.html

Im trying to understand what people class as a blind link, they are not my girls correct though this is an advert for their site so 'our' fits in OK surely?

Im greatfull of all the responses its opening my eyes, and yes I am learning too |shake|
