Heheh... well, I'm sure 1-2 hours is laughable in your case... but you also accept gallery (TGP) submissions and have a very established site. I'd be surprised if your reviewer wasn't working 40 hours/week! :)

But, I think for a small-to-mid size LL that only takes free sites (no galleries)... reviews shouldn't take more than a few hours/day.

Hiring someone outside the adult biz might save some money, but it'd be better to get someone who already know the terrain and won't be jerking off constantly. :)

The reason to hire outside of the adult biz is many.
To have a reviewer who will not quit in one month. To have a reviewer is not too busy doing his own work and forgetting yours. To have a reviewer who will not load your site with too many of his own links. To have a reviewer who's job is simply to review and help you run your site.
