Useless 2005-02-11 08:51 AM

Looks like a server hiccup that wiped out much of your data.

ngb1959 2005-02-11 09:14 AM

Just did a system restore. Hope this fixes it.

ngb1959 2005-02-11 09:44 AM

Fuckers.

System restore worked.

Now none of my sites are coming up.

Fuckers.

Reply from support in case someone else has problems:

There was a problem with the primary system drive on
titan.simplecom.net. The problem did not cause any system failures that triggered
alarms, but was causing
erratic system behaviour in most services. The problem has been
corrected, and
will be closely monitored througout the day.

They didn't answer my sales query email that I wrote 3 days ago... |pokefun| oh well I just bought hosting at PhatServers where the majority of my sites will be moving. Except for a couple I have at Powerstorm.

stuveltje 2005-02-13 05:34 PM

since i am on the net i have paid hosting, (it takes an investment to earn) i use isprime, they are not the cheapest my longest downtime ever ws 30 minites, i can reach them 24hours a day a week on icq , they always answer and do their best, i have them now for more then 3 years and i can say i realy like them, same with aw stats they contact me thru icq and fixed all, i am just one lucky bastard and dont think of changing my host ever. |king| |pink

ngb1959 2005-03-07 10:44 PM

PR_Tom 2005-03-07 11:01 PM

Cleo 2005-03-07 11:03 PM

I just got woken up by FoxyAngel because her site is down.

Yeah the whole host seems to be down, not good.

plateman 2005-03-07 11:13 PM

Dam cleo maybe it time to shop around or just a bad luck streak And That is the worst thing to happen to go down - like its hard enough to make sales when your up..

PR_Tom 2005-03-07 11:34 PM

It's been an hour now by my count :(

chaze 2005-03-07 11:49 PM

I have heard of a lot of weird things like this lately maybe it's not them and a global network fault? |yawn|

LadyB 2005-03-07 11:53 PM

This truly is a pain in the ass. There's no way to know if anyone is even working on it or not. |pissed|

btw.. hello everyone |hello|

Robbo 2005-03-08 12:11 AM

Count me in on the wait. |sad|

Hi LadyB!

Cleo 2005-03-08 06:22 AM

Hi LadyB, it's been a long time, how have you been? :)

IMO M3 server needs a way to let their customers to know what is going on.

I just woke up and I see everything is working again. Anyone know what happened?

Greenguy 2005-03-08 07:45 AM

I see Cleo's sig file is loading...I assume it's back up now?

The world's not a perfect place people - screws fall out all the time :D

Yeah - a simple email program that they can run anyplace that has Internet access would be a way of letting everyone know there's a problem.

ngb1959 2005-03-08 07:57 AM

It was off and on last night. I got two emails from some place that watches my sites saying it was 404'ing. That is the way I found out about it.

I think it was the PING/EMP they sent on the show 24 last night that messed it up. Damn computer terrorists!

|bananna|

Cleo 2005-03-08 08:01 AM

From my stats it looks like they were down for around 2 hours.

I agree. Anyway of letting us know is certainly better than the way it is now.

Hi GG :)

Hi Cleo! It certainly has been a long time. I've been doing great! Just working my butt off as usual. How are things with you? :)

Hiya Robbo!

Life is very good these days. :)

Money has been decent, I just remolded my house, health is good, things are going well.

Don't be a stranger and stop by GG&J's more. :)
