Did you ever get to Universal? Did you use the fastpass trick I mentioned?

For the characters...there is a character breakfast and there is a buffet lunch/dinner in the crystal palace (I think?) where most of the main characters go around to all the tables.

We went to Universal and yes I bought the fastpass. It was much better. We were able to get into most things within 10 minutes rather than waiting 30+ each time. Worth it and a lot of fun!
