Can I see the email in question by any chance? I know Murray, he works for me & is a very good friend. I also know that the domain in question is his main email addy (and also the name of his band) & I find it very hard to believe that Murray would be stupid enough to use his legit email if he was spamming.

I've had some of my domain names used by spammers, and sometimes a spammer with a grievance will send 100k or so emails to someone. Does the spam tie in with the domain name, and have you checked the originating IPs. It's easy to forge the reply and return addies in the envelope.

This one does not lead to the site or person in question BUT what each of these sites have in common is the UNSUBSCRIBE link which goes to
haleunospiya.com for its cgi program (let me note that the UNSUBSCRIBE is actually a SUBSCRIBE when you check the source ). Once you click the domain link you see it goes to garmmasmovies.com....at the bottom there is a bar when clicked goes to grammaspictures.com at the bottom again is the ICQ of the owner..which i just happen to have on my icw list so i have his details.
In short this guy runs megapornlinks.com which is hoste dthru you.
My point is i don't want to put this guy down just get him to stop if indeed it is him.

Also i have found several sites listed on his megapornlinks site that are spamming me..The one that most stands out is the grammasmovies..which is where the haleunospiya.com leads to when clicked...remember the haleunospiya.com domain is on all these spams where unsubscribe link are located. So i would have to say that this most definately is linked to the guy that runs the megaporn links site!

I reg domains for people, and I'm a bit concerned that I might get involved in a misunderstanding like this in the future. The use of other people's domain names is also a problem. I've had some anti-spam hate mail sent to my domains that never send out any mail whatsoever.

Headers can be easily faked and spammers hardly ever give genuine unsubsrcibe info.

Email spam is a realm of false trails and diversionary tactics. I think you're barking up the wrong trees.

The headers tell you nothing..they are from all over..remialers or open mail somehow.

I see what you're saying about going to the root of http://www.haleunospiya.com/ & clicking the link, but if you were smart enough, you'd see that the link goes to http://www.haleunospiya.com/wew.html which has a meta refresh to http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...0001&PA=652656 which is a site that Murray is involved with, but as you can clearly see, it's sent via a referral code. This means that the person spamming you is just an affiliate of a program that Murray is involved in & NOT FUCKING MURRAY HIMSELF!
