You didn't think you could write that you are getting no submissions without someone helping you did you?

Jim - take it from someone who knows - if you do it this way, you will have everything except links to send the surfers to & they will not come back once the see a shell of a Link List.

Get some sites in the categories before you open - give the surfers a reason to bookmark the site & come back the next day/week.

I am taking your advice my friend...whoelse would I take it from?
I am just doing it a different way.

And, if I do do it your way, the first time the bot went out and found no recip, it would get deleted. Perhaps we could give it a few weeks of a free ride and then remove them.

Not sure yet...Sparky and I are still talking about it.

I'm sure Sparky could put some sort of "ignore" button in there so that you can not look for a recip from certain sites.

Of course, that is another reason that you should not automate everything.

..and I don't think you asked me for any advice yet - I'm just being a pest :D

Doesn't your program allow you to specify that a recip is not required for a specific trade? Mine does.

I am just going to do it differently once sparky and I talk about it a bit. I just hate to buy traffic and send it to people that have not even submitted their own sites.

I really wish Sparky would toot his own horn. I know that our bot is special but I don't know how it is so special. If he feels the need to tell you guys, he will.

One think I know for sure...our first sponsors are going to be the sponsors on this board. After that, I will have to look at greenies list :)

About a week or two ago, I submitted a couple of sites to you. Don't know how far ahead or behind you are or whether you send out accept/reject emails but to this day (as far as I know) have not seen a listing.

I have bad news UW, I'm working on some free sites and you're going to get some. Same thing Jim as soon as your site opens.

Jim, does this mean the new Sparky script is almost ready? :)

I agree with greenguy and I would say from my own experiance with my LL it takes at least 5 to 6 k in links to keep surfers interrested in surfing a link site and I remembering greenguy saying if your gonna buy traffic for a LL you should have your ducks in a row as your gonna loose your traffic to your trades and surfers clicking back, I have 8600 links and just now starting to do ok.. they say it takes 2 years for a LL to become anything... oh and when your up and running pm me for a link trade if you want..

Hey Jim, for the few days before you open, how many submissions per day will you take? I assume once your rockin it will be 1 a day, but will you be taking several/day while you work on getting your categories full?

That is one of my favorite thing about brand new linklists, is being able to submit a good deal of my "old" sites ( I.E. 5-10 a day to help get the categories nice n full ;) )
