While that idea sounded good to me as well, I found myself just not going. I was so used to working from home, getting up, showering and going to an office was just too much. One of the happiest days I have had was the day I closed the office.

In in-between would be good. Something built onto your house to keep it separate yet still be at home.

For these past few weeks for example after surgery, there would have been no way to go to an office.

As for real employees, I haven't had any in almost 7 years. Again, it was good to see them go. I remeber my secretary went with a $14k separation agreement. Get those non-disclosure statements signed first :)

age has nothin to do with it

i agree

it's a matter of education and work ethics from home.

if they are young and willing test them and give bonus for good work.

give good explanations of what you expect and accept no less.

what are you looking for -types of jobs etc?

Well I'm a webmaster but I just got hired to do some great side work and I'm happy to have the chance. I've always wanted to work with an affiliate program and I feel lucky to do it to enhance my skills PLUS do my job as a webmaster that I've always loved doing. I am honored to have the chance to work with a good company and I have been trying my best to make sure he is pleased. I hope I make him happy enough to keep me on (I'm on a test period) and I will do everything in my power to hopefully get him to vote on yes to keep me.

I don't want to sound like I'm oozing here, but anyone that gets hired should not take a job lightly. I was lucky to be given a chance, and I think the persons you hire should feel the same way. I don't know what sort of job you are talking about or if you were paying them fairly, but they should have been glad for the opportunity and done everything they can to make sure you are satisified.

My two cents.
