Any place that doesn't let me in wearing jeans & a t-shirt can suck my ass :D

I had to go all the way back to my room the 1st year at the Venetian because I had on jeans & sneakers for the Players Ball - and it was not D-Money's fault - the big muscle security guards were giving everyone a hard time about their clothing.

Ahmen to that GG, Ill second that with a Dr. B can suck my ass.

and I was wondering about the TIME (start-stop) for the party on the evening of the 4th my flight doesn't even leave OHIO till the afternoon of the 4th - but I want to go to the party you are arranging as mentioned in the Chit Chat thread...

what time on the morning of the 5th - Monday - is everyone going to the convention site ??

is lunch served there - or available there or does one leave the convention to go find a place for lunch ??

There is food (or at least something that resembles food) on the show floor. However, it is quite expensive for what it is. However, considering that the walk from the show floor to the hotel is about 2/3 of a mile (I am not kidding... it might actually be FURTHER!), it doesn't encourage you to leave.

The show runs (I think) 11am to 5 each day, except last day it finishes early. The first day people show up pretty early, but after a couple of days, people are very slack...a couple of times I hit the floor 10 or 15 minutes before closing on the last day... Because of the 24 hour per day nature of Vegas, everyone runs on a pretty screwed up schedual by the second day.

Call your airline and ask about what can be in what bags, to avoid disappointment.

Party? There is a party? |jester| No idea what the hours will be, but it should be a pretty slack and happy affair :-)

Hey Bell...there's tons of places to eat here late at night....we are a 24/7 town...but like everyone has said, I wouldn't suggest any late night buffets....stick with the regular cafe's and late night specials. |thumb

Hi Bell! Officially this will be my first time attending Internext....went to a couple of parties and met a few people last year though. I haven't really thought about which booths to stop by....same deal with the parties...mostly just wanna network and meet people while having fun at the same time. Will definitely see you there! :)

It's getting real close now Bell, im sure your getting fired up. We have a countdown in our office every year, usually starts around 120 days or so (until we leave for the show), well when we get into the office tommorow, it will be 4 Days Till Vegas for us. |bananna|

I'd say from past experience, there is as much business done in the bars in the venetian/rio/harrahs etc.. than there is done on the floor at the convention.

take a good pair of tennis shoes, cuz trust me adult companies don't care, and there are so many hired models to look stunningly good and HAVE to wear heels that they'll never see our feet anyway.

when i was there a couple of years ago..ok several years ago, there was a mini-job board near i think the 'lounge' area, so you might want to look around for that as well.

I absolutely love to sit in the grand canal mall area and just watch all the people stroll around..

and the V bar is a good place to meet at if you want to make appointments and talk business, nice little areas for conversations..

there are just so many 1 of a kind attractions in vegas its really hard to pinpoint 1 or 2 not to miss. I do plan on going back to Mandalay Bay Aquarium, because it was truly a great experience for me. but i also want to go to Red Rock Canyon which is a desolate and beautiful spot in the desert.

One thing that is really hard to focus on once you get there is to not hop on the party trail and forget to network. That's really what i've found is so distracting because once you are there you will meet people that you totally didn't even know about who will invite you to functions, parties, events and unless there is some profitability down the road for you and what you want to accomplish, then that is really just a total social experience. and i'm not saying that you have to be 100% business because it is fun, just that it's very easy to slip off track and suddenly it's Wednesday afternoon and you've only seen 1/3 of the people you wanted to.

the most important thing to pack, in my opinion, is the list, physical or mental, of why you are attending and make sure that you accomplish those intentions. If you intent is to "party" then i'd say you have a 110% chance of accomplishing that.
