Bigger lists will send alot of traffic which can be more productive, but do not forget about the smaller lists. I started doing that and my sales did suffered. Free traffic from any list can be productive, so use it. It takes next to no time to mirror a site properly and submit to the smaller ones. Very important for those who are starting out.

Plus some smaller lists, like myself, will feed our lists with traffic. Sometimes quantity(traffic brokers) so I show up in your stats but mostly it is quality(search engine ppc) because I need the sales too. Which can only benefit those few special people that submit to mine as well. :)

Those using text files might want to try something like this.
Create a little html file with some form fields, and this piece of code.

Code:

Put this command on the form fields.
Code:

onclick="doCopy(this)"
Clicking the field dumps the information to the clipboard so you can just paste it on the submit pages.

Saves some time, and it's quite a bit more newbie friendly. |thumb

I just tried this on todays submit and it worked great |thumb Ill be submitting this way from now on. Very good tip, saved me quite a bit of time.

I installed roboform and messed with it a bit and it looks promising. I think I need to get the pro version for it to be really useful though no? If things work out with this free site submitting thing I may have to figure out how to use it.

No worries. ;)

My 2 cents. First thing I do is build tables of recips in the category of the site I'm going to be building on an HTML page. Then I have a list of submit page clickable links that open in a new tab.

Then I open my free site in one screen (dual monitors, I love them) then open up my html link list pages in another. Click a submit page, use robo forms filler custom forms to fill it out, check to make sure that I haven't filled in any extra fields, then submit. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Takes me longer sometimes to build the initial tables and links to submit pages than it does the free site, but I have that for next time, and the next time, it is a whole lot faster. :D

As to big links / small link lists. I submit to both. I have some free sites up on smaller link lists that may only send 5 clicks a day, but they have been doing that to that free site for over a year. |thumb

Yeah, I agree about the smaller link lists. Im not so rich that I couldnt use an extra sale here or there and it doesnt take too much extra time. Besides that, if you dont submit to them when they are small and they need the good free sites then they may not be so nice to you when they do get big :)

But I will admit... 2 of my last 5 free sites I only submitted to 1 page of link lists. When I submit to a new niche I have to grab new recips, customize them, add them to the index, submit. So I make the initial submission to that niche pretty small and then add to it on the following sites.

Anyways... Good submit tips.

Cheers

Ahh, another old schooler traffic trader doing the free site game :)

I been doing free sites everyday since Jan of this year and its going pretty good for me, this stuff just seems like it takes a lifetime to get running. I have pretty much topped out as far as traffic from the LL's goes it seems, but the SE traffic is just now starting to flow a little bit into my first domain I started doing free sites on. And thats what I been after the whole time anyways, just been considering the LL traffic as a nice bonus. The best advice I can give from what I have learned in 6-7 months of doing this is make sure your sites work together into a network and dont just submit each site inividually, save one of your 3 out links for a hub. I build a bunch of sites a head of schedule and I get quite a bit of sign ups from sites I havent even submitted yet, and sign ups off my hubs, not to mention the SE benefits down the road. Doing the free site game isnt just something you say one day "oh I think I'll try that out". Its a long term commentment that you aren't gonna see much results from in at least 2-3 months and the "big prize" is probably at least a couple years down the road.

It's only ben a couple weeks and I'm doing just awesome right now ;) Good steaddy traffic comming to my sponsor.

Thanks a lot for the list, I just added every site that had a lot of linkbacks in google to my submit list yesterday.

GASS doesn't fill up forms. It only duplicates pages and acts like a browser bookmark. You still need a form filler (such as roboform) to fill up the form or fill the form by hand with GASS.
