But I tell you what, before I ran a new motherboard and processor, I would change the power supply as well. I am guessing but, I would imagine the power supply is what caused the problem. Maybe something did screw it up but, if you are still running with that same power supply, you are just going to fry everything again no matter where you plug it in.

Ok.. if anyone didn't believe HKS was out for the $$ before seeing this.. they certainly would be after.. that is just WRONG and to be aired of all fucked up places on Fox... at least E! would have given her some "props" or something..

I think i could use this to make my case for making future parents take a test before getting PG.

Ah, well that's sounding more and more like some external force is cooking things. Given the circumstances, think I'd replace the UPS and the power supply too. The UPS is a bit pricey, but power supplies are pretty cheap. You definitely don't wanna roast any more parts.

I got a new one of those as well - that was the 1st thing we tried to fix :)

I've got a small surge protector that has a 30 minute battery in it - all I need is 15 seconds of back-up power, as the generator kicks on 10 seconds after the electricity goes out.

My fingers are crossed |pokefun| |greenguy|

Make sure that power supply isnt one of those 240 or 300 jobs - got to get a lot more power available to keep it from burning up stuff when you put a big load on power supply - if youre running dual processors at least a good 700w works great LOL

But I have a feeling that, if Peters isn't suspended for beating up your goalie |couch| those 2 will go at it tomorrow night.

I didn't see the game live, I was playing basketball. Did Peters come in when Emery was engaged with anyone else? If not then there shouldn't be any suspension since Emery fought back. And Peters only hit Emery in the side/top of head without losing that smile. :D

Oh, you can bet McGratton will be dressing for the game tomorrow night. Neil won't be the only tough guy out there. |knockout|

Well just to inform everyone the motherboard had an internal short on the bios chip which cooked that and the processor which thankfully popped the powersupply fuse. That was the verdict from motherboard manufacturer. They sent me a replacement out today.

What a day... last weekend selling G.S. cookies. My co-leader and I are teaching our kids the fine art of pressure sales and got rid of 100 boxes this evening... YAY!

Now, I'm hopeful that tomorrow I'll be able to find time to wash and wax my new truck and post pics :)

Yep, still in the Keys. I moved about 25 miles south, to Big Pine Key. I still want mountains and snow, but I've decided that visiting them will have to do for now. When you visit, you don't have to shovel snow every friggin' day. :)

Thanks again! :)

Everything seems to have gone well. Just started plugging things in and all services seem to be working great this morning. DSL seems faster from here for some reason too. Had my coffee outside by the canal this morning while showing the cats around their new outdoors.

Time to go unpack some boxes.

A good weekend to all.

:)
