Well, that depends on where you live. Maybe in the States "OMFG I'm rich" wouldn't apply for you, but somewhere in the Eastern Europe it'd be a totally different story.

Traditionally the winter is a little better than summer as people tend to be indoors more. Around, well, right about now, the college kids leave the nest which helps a bit.

It makes a big difference sometimes if you are pushing a lot of traffic. Less so if you do not have a lot. In that case don't expect too much from it.

Sorry for bumping the thread but reading this really does hold true for so many, newbie and veteran of the biz. Sales don't always shoot through the roof, but if you can get a good number of quality sign-ups and the materials are worthy they will hold them for a few months.

Ive only been back in the biz for a short time, after being away 2.5 years, and so much has changed in that time. But again, I think even someone being away for 6 mos to a year they'd see new trends and ways to gather traffic.

to be honest right now I'd be happy with 5K a month and in order to do that you first have to make 1K a month and so on.

Don't get too discouraged PJ, stay the course and give it some time. I have learned so much by just coming here on a regular basis for the last month, reading what everyone has to say, asnwering what I could, etc. This board will help. Bounce ideas off people, ask for trades, submit your sites and keep pluggin' away. I appreciate all I learn from this board. Some doesnt apply to me but it all adds up.

You will get there. Be honest with yourself about what you have done and what you are going to do. The information as far as making a freesite a day and submitting it, making other freesites a day as well. Not the classic ones you submit to link lists. Just make link lists, fake tgps/mgps. Link to those from your hubs. Go back to make some pages that are just pic posts and make a hub that just links to stuff like that.

It really is part a game of just getting fresh new things out there all the time that is just more land in your web empire. Just keep building. Keep coming up with new ideas. Building them out. And keep going and you will see how even worst case slowly it will build up.

OTB and reading the boards. More importantly just keep getting things out there.

I starting back up in May after a 2 year hiatus and this month I should pass 1k and that is only from making 1 free site per day, 5 days a week. I even took the month of August off, so it can be done, just don't give up! Good luck to you!

For sure, I noticed when I took a couple weeks off to deal with some personal stuff, that not having new stuff out there really hurt.

But I am still making sales from older sites submitted months ago which is always nice to see.

Right now, im trying to get out a freesite and avs site a day, but at the same time, working on a new hub and updating all the other stuff I got out there now like fake mgp's, blogs, etc....
