Sorry to hear about your grandmother Greenie :(

Bobc01 2007-12-27 11:28 AM

Condolences Greenie, grandparents are probably the ones we'll all miss the most.

Simon 2007-12-27 11:37 AM

So sorry to hear that, GG. I lost all my grandparents before I was out of high school, so it's good that you had yours in your life much longer. Though I'm sure that gives you more to miss about her too. (Given the choice, I'd take having more time with more to miss.)

All good thoughts to you and yours.

Oh yeah, I agree. I didn't like the original saddle (seat) enough to want to keep it so I went with the FS-CR Cruiser from Serfas that uses what they call reactive gel technology (basically some extra silicone pads positioned on the silicone base) and has both a spring suspension and a fully suspended base. Sort of like sitting on some breast implants which are sitting on some larger breast implants. Definitely very comfortable. :)

My Grandmother passed away early this morning :( She was 86 & we knew she was going (she took herself off dialysis last week) It's strange to not be a complete wreck after someone close to you passes, but I guess knowing it's going to happen & being able to say good-bye helps.

So I'll be scarce today.

Sorry to hear that. I can identify. My mother is 82 and probably doesn't have long. She's down to 85 lbs now. But I know it's coming so it won't be a big blow when it happens. Still, it's rough. Once again, my condolences to you and your family.

Sorry to hear that, and I too wasn't a complete wreck when my grandfather passed. We all knew it was coming and he wasn't in great shape so we hated seeing him suffer. While we miss him dearly, we are glad his suffering is over.

I'm sorry for your loss, Greenie.

Sorry to hear that Greenguy. I lost the last of my grandparents a few years back and I still feel it. I really miss my grandfather, an old rum runner, a real character, and a good friend as well.

good afternoon everyone |waves|

still being very lazy, I don't see how I can get back into things while everyone is still home but I have to try or I'll go crazy |loony|

sorry to hear about your grandmother Greenie. I lost my closest grandmother a couple of years ago and I still dream about her. My thoughts go to you and your family.

My condolences Greenie
My Grandmother passed away at 86 too, it tore me up I cried like a baby off and on for days.
I've gone through the dialysis thing with the wifes Aunt, talk about depressing. Folks if you have a loved one going through it see about donating a kidney it's really not that big a thing

Sorry to hear about your loss, Greenie. Nice to hear you had a chance to say goodbye, though. That can be so rare.

Morning all - Unlike Fonz - I slept past noon...... and needed it

Sorry for your loss Greenie - My Mother is in the same boat, cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes - we know she could go anytime and we try to spend as many meaningful days, hours and minutes as we can with her.

Keep her memories close.

Afternoon all -
GG - Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Give yourself and the wife a hug from me!

The last few days for me have been crazier than I thought. Helping my friends out at the grocery store and moving furniture for my buddy who's remodeling. (I swear I've moved the same damn couch 5 times).

Got word today that I May be coaching baseball again this summer. (our school is broke - lol) So I may be around all summer - lucky you.

Off to email the kids at the cabin, finish up a few reviews, then dinner.

FanTC - when exactly do you get work done? I'd eat your breakfast and be a pile on the couch til noon.??
