I got my Epassporte account thru ARS and got both virtual and physical cards without ever giving Epassporte my CC info.

As did I with Flashcash.

GreenGuy & DamageX - you have PMs. |bananna|

Surfn 2004-02-07 05:46 PM

I've been watching and waiting for Epassporte to become viable for me. Right now it's no better than Paypal to me.

Extreme John 2004-02-07 09:49 PM

yeah Pay Pal is a wreck, matter of time before they cancel my account too, my email address is "EXTREMELY MATURE" in nature.

Hey Pay Pal
|badafro|

NotThatKevin 2004-02-07 10:00 PM

What I don't like about epassporte is that to pay someone I have to do a wire transfer to my epassporte account first whereas with paypal you could set it up to use the money from you CC.

dionysos 2004-02-08 06:12 AM

I signed up with Paypal a few weeks ago using the email
@ pornolistic.com. So now this email stands as my primary email. I just added another non adult email(right now It stands as "unconfirmed". But can I just remove the @ pornolistic? And if I do what about the $ I have under that account(shoud I Withdraw the the $ I have first, ore will they still be there under the new email i signed up, when I have eraced the adult email I signed up under at first place?).

dionysos 2004-02-08 06:16 AM

Well I just confirmed the new email, and then tryed to remove the old(adult) one, but got this message: "You cannot remove your primary email address." So what now? |sad|

NotThatKevin 2004-02-08 06:50 AM

Make your 2nd email your primary

dionysos 2004-02-08 07:05 AM

DOH ......... (next time Ill try to open my eyes before I ask....)

NotThatKevin 2004-02-08 07:13 AM

|jester| that's ok. I am sure others have done this as well. I know I did :)

Dr Bizzaro 2004-02-08 09:11 AM

I guess the reason I like Epassporte is because Flashcash opened the account for me. When they did, they paid the fee from what they owed me and deposited the rest of my earnings in there. From that point on, I have been having other sponsors making deposits as well. I never really had to transfer any cash into the account at all myself.
Then I just use the money when I need it. (Like when I'm in Vegas and feel the need to give them even more money at the Let it Ride table.)

But yes, one of the huge draw backs is not being able to transfer the money right into my business account.

venturi, any chance you could send me a new PM with the addy? Just checked my PM inbox and had nothing in there, weird... I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

venturi 2004-02-08 08:25 PM

ACK! resent mon. I think I tried sending you and GG messages too close together and the script spanked me because of that.

I spoke with IKOBO...they sound great. Small company trying to knock off the giants...anxious to please...etc. Anyone have any real world experience with them?

I just signed up to IKOBO to see how it worked. They start you off with a $205/Month transfer limit. I clicked the link to increase that and the most they offer is $5k/month after jumping through quite a few hoops. They are a long way from an alternative to Paypal and Epassporte.

stu19 2004-02-09 11:37 AM

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the info. I haven't signed up yet, but spoke with Sean in Merchant Support. He told me about the initial $205 limit, but assured me that it can be "easily" raised after the first transaction....said they have several people doing over $50,000 monthly. I'm of the same mind as you...if there is a $5000 upper limit, that's not enough. Since it's free might as well at least sign up...don't want to pass on a possible good alternative without at least taking a look at it.

Jim 2004-02-09 11:44 AM

I agree Stu...
I am going to sit back and watch to see where they go.

Surfn 2004-02-09 12:04 PM

I finally changed my FC account over to epassport with instant payout. I'm interested to see where that leads to.

Jim 2004-02-09 12:15 PM

Surfn
That's how I got my Epassporte card. I have since gotten one for GreenguyandJim but exclusively use my Flashcash Epassporte account.

Rictor 2004-02-10 07:10 PM

I can't wait until there is a quality alternative to Paypal.

IntelligentWebs 2004-02-10 10:11 PM

Depends on the biz...

We offer PPC advertising, for adult sites and other sites also based on Search results...

If you are dealing soley in the adult Biz then sort out new procesing to be on safe side.....

The easiest answer is to get approved merchant accounts...

You dont need paypal or Ibill for this...

If you have a long term business then you can get merchant accounts from your local bank with rates of just 3% as we do....

Look into this... If you provide a fully active service and product then any real-life bank will give you a merchant account....

Stop relying on internet billing and talk to your own bank....

Internet billing at 15% are only for those that can offer genuine accounts.....

If you want to move forward then get 100% legit - thats my advice......

Netpiddler 2004-02-10 10:28 PM

Be very careful of iKobo, my recent experiences with them have been rather.... um, unpleasant. |angry|

Greenguy 2004-02-10 10:45 PM

IntelligentWebs - what do merchant accounts & online processors have to do with PayPal email & Epassport set up problems?

stu19 2004-02-10 10:46 PM

Ikobo
