I'm not sure whether it's a good place to ask about the issue I've been having lately with nee.dee and we.love.free.porn. Since I can't find a better place, I'll give it a try here :)
I get another sort of an error while trying to submit my brand new freesites to the LL from above. They give me "Url already is in db ERROR". Wonder if it has something to do with rebuilding scripts you mentioned before.

I pulled him from my submit lists when I tried to contact him the first time.

Not too sure I want to work with folks that treat me like shit then come back and act like I was the problem. There were a LOT of good submitters that got their domains "blacklisted" for no real reason. And nothing pisses off a submitter that makes an honest effort to follow the rules than getting blacklisted with no response for months as to the reason.

I think I'll pass on submitting to anything owned by Rocco till he gets this figured out. I don't have time to keep redoing my recip tables every time he gets a hair up his ass.

I find I have less and less patience for that kind of shit. He contacted me about two years ago and offered a deal, it seemed ok but needed a bit of negotiation so I said so, didn't hear back from him for months. When I did hear back I was no longer interested.
With this kind of business you can't just put it on auto-pilot, you have to be there and you have to deal with people. Good webmasters don't look on that as an inconvenience.

I just got a message that the site I was submitting is already in the database at one of Rocco's lists and at another it says my domain is banned and it also says "success, inserted". What's up with that?

nope, that really means url already in db as the url has to be unique otherwise it cannot be inserted. if insertion fails then i assume (actually falsely, i know) that it is already in there. but if inserts fail for another reason this same error is returned. welove and nee dee will be rebuild soon, though. sorry for the problems.

Didn't treat you like shit, we just did not reply for whatever reason. Anyway, that was not nice, sorry for that.

I will post here when the sites are redone. ATM sleeks is pretty much working as supposed, this is the one which will not list banned domain (the other sites still list sites from banned domains, but will stop soon). Get your domains unbanned and your submissions are welcome.

That must be sleeks and means:
domain is banned (by bot)
but site is inserted and will be shown as soon as the domain is unbanned. Let me know the domain, then I will have a look at your sites.

Hi Pusher, you were using 2 different fonts on the same page (Arial and New Times Roman). I do not like that. - Just kidding, your domain is unbanned, it was like the other sites auto-banned, which means:
- old recips
- same class C IP range like a massive spammer
- too often down
- or my bot was in a bad mood

You ask why working on it now? Easy answer: I expect the free site/ link list business to see new spring. Business is somehow consolidating and I do not think there will go many newbs into the (tgp) gallery submission business as it is hard to find places to submit to for free and without partner accounts. Newbs will not pay for it. The free site business is a bit less attractive to newbs as you will not see quick results. My conclusion is: competition will fall.

I also understand the link list biz better now, especially the rules. And I start to find pleasure from the old school way everything works. I followed the discussions around Jay's recips and while I see his point I am in the boat of GG and DDave. Those recips are not for SEO. I will have to change some of my recips, for example nee dee's. So I am rebuilding the scripts and the sites.

welove was not really run into the ground, opti warned me that it was in danger at least for the google traffic, but he expected sleeks having a good chance rising. and he was right. so what was needed was getting the money back from welove before the google hammer would have fallen and that part was a success also although welove's quality suffered. that was for the shorttime money only and the deal paid for itself.

the plan is running the sites more old fashioned and getting better into the niches.
