So this was way prior to Dee's purchase of the program.

In some cases i bet such things as reducing cookie life might explain at least partially why many affiliates claim that a nats switchover hurts them. Hmmm

I checked a few nats sponsors of mine and found most had it set to the default ten days.

1 hour is pretty crazy.

actually, we did this because of the pressure and standards of cookie length in programs that are predominatly PPS not revshare.

as for solutions that prompt more joins and rebills

discounted rebill retry ( on rebill deny )
discounted membership offers on cancel ( live support or cancel page )
24/7 support for all members ( offer free months on other networks, discounts, bonuses, or if nescessary full refunds )

---

as for cookies, you can't please everyone.

I will be looking into Meatcash, and had someone told me about this prior, we'd have looked at it earlier.

I heard it here. And I went to web sniffer to see.

The link I entered yesterday from the facial site. Expires today.

I've set it to 10 day for now, while I go over some numbers regarding those on PPS vs those on Revshare.

no problem all. i'd really like to stress the fact that a quick email to me will always get you you're questions answered in full, and nescessary changes made.

somethings we don't even think to check, honestly, I'd never heard of people setting the NATS cookie any time unless to increase it.

Note all NATS installs that we've bought should now be atleast 10 Days, and all programs we brought over to NATS are all 10 days coookies as well.

I've got another issue.
When rage cash switched to nats, and I belive its the time it was bought by deecash, my account was shut down (or at least suspended since I still can retrive my pass, which I'm unable to log-in with) without a word. As far as I remember I was using only revshare links so I can't really find a reason.
I contacted ragecash support but I was told they can do nothing and I shall contact someone else (sorry, cant recall who that was but I suppose it was someone from deecash) - I never got replied though I tried several times.

Not that I was sending lots of SU's or you owed me lots of money but I'd like to know why my account was suspended, and if possible get it reactivated.

Would be great if you could look into it, my rage cash id is: fatb0y

unfortunately no one left a nats note on why it was banned, it is now unbanned.

You'd be surprised how many webmaster go directly to the board with a problem instead of emailing/contacting the sponsor.

Step 1: email them
Step 2: post on their support board
Step 3: post on a board you know they frequent
Step 4: go balls out & bash them in public :D

Very nice, and an increasingly rare attitude. |thumb It seems that at least you don't send affiliate email into the SPAM folder and then claim you never got it.

Step 1 only works if affiliate email doesn't go into the spam filter. If the issue is getting locked out of affiliate areas, then Step 2 usually won't work since sponsor boards are usually behind the affiliate password wall.

As an occasional angry basher (I'm 12-stepping it now - "My name is Lassiter and I am a basher.") |greenbat I do agree that a bit more professionalism on all sides would be preferable.
