You are absolutely correct Emerald. I apologize dearly for bringing this up. and yes it is your business and you do have the right to promote who you want. I will never dispute that.

I mentioned you and your domain because you are a trusted member here. While this board has repeatedly said that AFF is not trustworthy. I have always looked up to you and your site. I am not trying to bash you or throw you under the bus.

The reason I signed up at your site is because I want a 3rd chick to come around my home to please us.





I hope this will get to AFF and things will change and we all can make some good money.

Like you needed me to tell you that.

I can promise you this much. If anyone has problems with them while I am working here I'll do what I can to fix it. Thats all I can do.

I've worked with companies before that had some questionable shady past dealings. A certain bay area kinky site in particular and before I left I was able to make a few changes there that stuck including insuring the models safety through insurance, training & safety measures that didn't exist before I got there.

Who knows. Maybe I'll get frustrated and bail after a week. Maybe not. Either way you'll get the inside scoop. :P

I don't do ad buys but I have the ad list in front of me and I don't see anything like that. I work only with business development, affiliates & partners.

I know that they do buy on tube sites (mainly to counter sexsearch's buys) but the banners they all just look like the other friend finder banners. I hate the tube sites but let's face it, ff is a big massive business. They only care about the financial and legal sides of things, which is one of the reasons they wanted me on board, I am better at keeping people happy.

You should see how strict they are on what I can make creatives out of. It's super corporate in the way things are done. They are all about covering their asses.
AFF being corporate & doing business with people who kind of suck. Definitely.

AFF being not trustworthy? That I haven't seen any evidence of. Trust me I'm looking.

My job isn't to do day to day work on accounts but I can take them on if I choose to.
If anyone has accounts they want me to look into or SPECIFIC complaints they think will change my stance I'd be more than welcome to look into them. I can also take on an account if you'd just rather have it optimized better or want me to keep an eye on things for you. Just catch me at hpowers@ffn.com.

Its just how often are at larger companies. They make decisions based upon the bottom line. You should see the insane amounts of money people make promoting AFF.

I must say that it is nice being able to go home at the end of the day and not care what happens at a company over the weekend. Usually I get so emotionally invested in the places that I work that it totally eats my brain even on my days off.

This weekend I played rockband2, worked on my novel & started looking into my nonprofit without even the slightest concern over work. That in itself is a first for me.

Just because AFF is a larger company doesn't mean they have to completely abandon their morals or ethics -- I can point out many a larger corporation that will still have some idea of what's right and what's wrong.

The fake ads: grey area. Fake ads on tube sites: wrong. Anything that deals with essentially advertising on sites that have illegal content: wrong.

From the adult webmaster point of view that one seems fair. If AFF doesn't want to go that route, then I can't blame anyone for going off at them the way they have been in the past few years.
