oke i have to know, sanding...

I was referring to sanding the walls smooth after filling holes and scratch marks with polyfiller but I have stripped a lot of wood in the past.

If your going to repaint your woodwork you can save time by using a paint stripper, which will take off 2/3 coats of paint per application. You could also use a gas torch, which will burn the paint away in seconds but be careful not to set your house on fire :D
I've used both of the above in the past because it makes the job a lot faster and easier and you can strip a whole house in a couple of days. Try asking at your your local hardware store for paint stripper. They should be able to tell you what you need |thumb

You better not have thrown out that 70's swinger furniture the previous owner left for you! And don't fuck up the wire from that antenna - I'm hooking up some free HDTV for you when we come up |thumb

yep thats what i needed to know, yep i am doing that also for some weeks, although i like to fill the holes thing, i only hate the sanding thing, some moms at the school of my son are looking at me with strange eyes, yes i have bin sanding and i am looking dusty, but i am realy not gonna change my clothes to pick up my son while i have to do the fucking sanding stuff again(keep in mind that my son is at a school where the moms have rich hubbies and dont have to do anthything themself, me and some other moms are totally the other way around)........:D about the stairs, sanding it,putting the first layer of paint on it, waiting till its dry, sanding it again and putting the last layer of paint on it again.....even my goddamn nosehairs are getting white because of the sanding i am doing......but sanding was the word i was looking for, btw, the gas thing to remove the paint for....my hubby forbid me to use that one, hell that shows alot of trust in me...i wonder why the hell he thinks that way....oh maybe because the house got full of smoke because i was baking some bread in the oven twice?:D i had an alibi...it wasnt my fault...realy it wasnt|huh

The furniture is still there but I have no intention of swinging with you! I may be freaky but I'm not that freaky :D
And the wiring to the antenna hasn't been touched but I need to check where it actually runs too. The thought of free HDTV is well worth the challenge of going up in the attic to check it out prior to your arriving |thumb

Get your hubby to do the sanding if he doesn't trust you to use a burner to do it. That way you can get out of the hard work and just do the painting |thumb

If I remember, there were 2 cables coming into the upstairs living room - odds are one is hooked up to the antenna.

I'll bring my tools :D
