Your warning text take up a lot space. If I were you, I'd put that in scrolling textarea at about 50-75% width of the page. It's really a huge boring chunk of text that no on is going to read, so toss it all in a textarea box put a bold warning above it, such as CAUTION: ADULT CONTENT.

This one is my old standby (you're free to use it):
HTML Code:

<p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica; font-size:14px; font-weight:bold; text-align:center;">ENTERING THIS SITE SIGNIFIES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE FOLLOWING</p>
<textarea name="warning" rows="5" cols="55">                    *** WARNING ***

You're currently only using one of your three links out on your warning page. Add one above your enter link and one below. Also, one of the things I liked to do back when I would have an exit link is to use a smaller font-size on it than the enter link. It helps, in a minor way, to lead your surfer through the site.

Also, I don't know if AEBN gives you the opportunity to use deep links, but if they do, I'd link directly to some other internal page than the site's warning page. You're sending a surfer from one adult site to another, so there's no good reason to warn them about adult content again. You won't make a sale on AEBN's warning page. :) (BTW, if you look at their warning page, you'll see what I mean about shrinking down that exit link.)

Dollpix 2008-12-11 09:59 PM

Huh?

2257 on warning page? Nobody has advised me that was a rule.

Yes, I have shrunk the warning box a lot. Thanks

No, AEBN has no deep links available, but I do rather well with
them actually. I've been with them a very long time and have
quite a good downline.

I have left it off and got listed. Some list are strict about having it, others consider it optional. Having said that, it is a common practice. Practically 100% of the sites submitted to my list have it. There are some legalities involved primarily if you are in the USA.... and you have to cover your ass, although an attorney would be the one to advise on that.

Fonz 2008-12-12 05:06 AM

Most of my sales come from the "warning" page so I'm putting up as many links as allowed on that page.

Dollpix 2008-12-12 07:05 AM

2257

OK, enter, leave, and U.S.C. 2257 links on warning page.
That in its self is 3 links. Am I right? That's the limit, right?

Enter and 2257 links don't count as one of those 3 links. Neither does the exit link if it doesn't link to an adult/commercial site.

So you can put up 3 other links to sponsors on your index page.

Dollpix 2008-12-12 07:26 AM

OK

Does that suit all of the LL's? That would be great if it does!

Actually, you can bypass the warning page like this:

Code:

http://vod.fetishpayperview.com/dispatcher/frontDoor?&refid=AEBN-044883
Or, if you have some custom theaters (I'd guess you would after all these years), you can link directly to a category like this:

Code:

http://movies.extremeporn.com/dispatcher/categoryDetail?theaterId=52221&categoryId=614
Or even directly to a specific title if you want, like this:

Code:

http://movies.extremeporn.com/dispatcher/movieDetail?movieId=106195&theaterId=52221
HTH

:)

Yes, I just wasn't thinking.... too many hours of porn can warp one's
mind..... |loony|

As far as theaters go, I think I have 5....

a. These are pretty straight forward. This is obviously where your content goes, either pics or movies. And it appears that most sites do not want you putting anymore than two links to sponsors on this page. I just put one.

Most sites? I've been building free sites for seven years and have never run into that. If I did back in the day they didn't get on my submit list. In the rules at the 65+ link lists I submit to (27 of the "big boys" and most from here at the board) it says no more than three outgoing sponor links/page. I only get about 5% of my sales from gallery pages but if I'm allowed three/page, that's what I'm putting on my pages.

Just my .02

It's probably easier for you since you've been doing it for so long. If there is one site that has a specific rule, then you're probably familiar. For me, I'm so new and was kind of all over the map in my understanding so my advice to Dollpix was to just go uber-simple at first as this approach is helping me. Maybe I wasn't clear but basically, my approach is to start with nothing and then slowly add to it once submitting becomes normal and comfortable with few mistakes. It doesn't really matter how many ads or links are on my freesite if no one is accepting them:) That's really my only point. Dollpix has been struggling with getting her new freesites accepted as was I, so I thought starting out basic was an effective approach but I'm sure it's not the only or best one... just mine:)

I am fascinated by your and Fonzi's stats concerning sales on the first two pages.... thanks for that! Very helpful-

Dollpix 2008-12-17 09:37 AM

I am sooooo upset!

Since Dec. 12, I have been using AEBN's links to the page
just inside their warning page. Well, now I find they do not
track these pages. They only track links directly to their
warning pages. No stats/no sales!

I hope I'm not in trouble and I certainly don't want to get
black listed any where, but I did a global find and replace
on these sites and changed the AEBN links. |banghead|

Simon 2008-12-17 11:04 AM

Maybe we can get someone from AEBN in here to talk with us about this.

Liz ... are you around? Or anyone else from AEBN?

|

Dollpix 2008-12-17 11:13 AM

I talked....

I spoke to April about this, but if there's somebody that
is more knowledgeable than her, it would be great!

Simon 2008-12-17 12:21 PM

Okay... just to be clear...did April say that if you send traffic to anything but their warning pages you will not be paid?

|

Dollpix 2008-12-17 12:37 PM

April

No, April never said that. Liz got in touch with me and she
and April are trying to figure it out. But, of course, AEBN's
stats are down.... they should be back up in a half hour
or so.
Liz doesn't understand it.....why it's not recording anything
beyond the warning page.

Do you use AEBN and link to the page/s inside their warning
page?

Simon 2008-12-17 03:52 PM

I did in the past but now really only use custom theaters on subdomains like the one mentioned in my earlier post. There is no traffic tracking on those either, just counts of members and revenue, but you can link to anywhere you want inside those.

Dollpix 2008-12-17 06:07 PM

I learned...

Well, I basically learned, not to do it again.....
With April's help.... |banghead|

Fonz 2008-12-18 04:59 AM

Oh yeah Dollpix, another thing (off topic),
If you submit freesites with movies you might want to submit them to the specific category pages and not to the general movie page.
Milf Movies go into MILF, Ebony movies go into Black/Ebony.

Dollpix 2008-12-18 06:45 AM

Thanks

Thanks, Some LL's want this, some don't. I'll try to remember
that yours does.
