Thanks for the explanation. Hygiene or religion I always feel bad for the little boy getting cut and I am glad they did not do it to me.

Troy i know in holland boys get circumcised because of religion or problems that the foreskin is to narrow (or whatever you name that), to be honest....i never have seen a uncircumsised dick for real in my life (yes i only know them from pictures:D) my hubby doesnt have that foreskin either. I do think that uncircumsised dicks look a bit creepy or ...but thats just my opinion.

It always bothered me that the humans involved - the male children - didn't get to have a voice in this matter. From what we women are told, it does hurt, though most don't remember it or suffer much permanent trauma. It also has an effect on sensitivity (not emotions). I had always felt that if I had kids, I would not force that decision. Let nature takes its course. If a guy needs it for medical reasons, then it can be done.

Maybe it is just time to educate parents-to-be?

I so didn't catch that. The only experience I've had with circumcision is seeing my younger adopted brother laying in a crib strapped down around the age of one screaming in agony and pissing straight up into the air a lot after getting circumcised.

I guess because I'm American I prefer a circumcised dick if I'm going to be with someone who has a dick but after watching my brother having this done it does seem rather barbaric.

i dont have an religion to believe in, yes my own:D, i have a 12 year old son who is not circumcised, it was not needed so we didnt do it, btw its also not permitted in holland to do circum thing, for beauty, its like i said, religion or medical need releated, i dont know how that is in other countries.We have specifick rules for curcum thing in holland.:D
