Quality of life is immeasurable when you're working for yourself and meeting your own goals. Keeping that positive attitude will help you through the rough times.

Glad you're back. Enjoying my daughter grow up from the time she was born, she just turned 5. Before doing this I was traveling for business constantly and would still be doing that.
I'm glad I've been able to spend these years with my daughter. |

I just work a LOT harder and daily in adult now to try and get my income back up for what went down in the economy, and supplement with other work from home stuff. We all just wear a lot of hats. |jester| <--- I need a hat like this Good for you Sodo, sorry about your marriage, but WTG coming back, and good luck to you! |
I just run into this thread and it was really cool to read the story. Something similar happened to me not so long ago, I realized back then that no matter who you work for, there will always be a boss-employee relation. There's nothing like being your own boss!
All my hopes Sodo. ;) |
I just stopped by to find some content, though I do miss people here. :) Well some...lol JK
Anyways, just want to put in my two cents, with what seems to be so many people leaving the biz. Not every leaves because of bad times or economy, some, like myself, just get tired of it. I just got really burnt out on the biz. It was like work, didn't want to do it any more, ect, ect. I wasn't tired of working online so much as working adult. Not that adult biz is or was bad, just wasn't my thing any more. Course part of it was the sad fact that conversions went to crap so badly over the years. Just my thoughts :) |
