Morning all, still waking up. Work, Oblivion playing and a workout on tap for today. We watched as Good as it Gets last night, I love that movie, and hadn't seen it in a few years. Jack Nicholson plays such a good obsessive compulsive person. Knowing a few in my life, he really nails it well. Have a good one all.

Morning. Cruising through some work already today. Got my coffee a couple minutes ago. Doing the board things before I go on a submitting robot click click click.

Got a friend flying in from phx this afternoon. Going to pick him up and then the partying starts. Tomorrow going to the races where there is a beer fest and steel pulse is playing in the infield. Time for some more gambling on the ponies. Last time I went I hit a nice superfecta that carried me the whole day with drinking and gambling. Walked out up a couple bucks.

Yes I know this feeling. My new pup chewed threw the cord enough that it started making it drop in and out. Lucky I had another one ready to go as my dad had just gotten himself the tiny little bluetooth one and mine was beginning to look so disgusting with dirt, etc. that I had taken his. So I was able to just plug right back in. I have learned and since have moved the cord out of the reach of the dog as he sleeps under the desk most the day.

Congrats to Rob and Rachel!

Hi all. Our region took a pounding weather wise yesterday evening and would you believe we missed it all while we enjoyed a late anniversary meal in Barrie's Red Lobster restaurant.

Our home town along with several others in the storms path were, hammered with huge wind storms, thunder, lightning and lots of rain. So far there are a 3 or 4 confirmed tornado touchdowns out of 11 possibles throughout the region and one of those was somewhere around our town.

There were downed trees along some roads but Emmy's mom was one of the lucky ones as a tree in her rear yard with a 9 inch trunk was sheared off at about the 8ft level. That went down in the forest just over the fence or it would have landed on top of their house.

When we returned, the power was out everywhere but ours came back around 11pm. Today the inner town is powered up but street and traffic lights are all still out, which is odd.

What did we actually see? A little heavy rain and a few ominous clouds. You could say we were lucky but I'd have liked to see it from our house as the storm passed by.

.....Sure seems like Saturday to me......the days have been all running-together lately. The sun seems especially HOT today, Ginny and I had to go to the Post Office and I am amazed at how bloody intense the heat is here! I hope you all have a great and productive day!
