Sorry to hear your hard drive crashed Green Guy. I have had 2 crash in the last 3 months, recovered one, lost all 60 gigs of data on the other. Pain in the ar? :) Anyways i have bought a couple of these back up drives

It is really simple to use, now i back up everyday. Im not selling maxtor, there are many other good brands like lacie too, but i can say I feel alot safer now its all backed up, and large amounts of data (300gb) are portable if I need it too :):)

Sorry to hear of your HD crash. So did it ever end up getting past 0%? You recover everything ok?
