At least I know what it isn't.

How about this page?

Every link on that page works fine except the one to the root (home)

Just got back home.

It must be the mailing link then.

Let me make a test page with just the mailer on it.

Test page with just mailer form on it

I just found out that the code for the mailer form was incorrect.

Got the correct code from the form website and placed it on the root page.

Now I have to find the correct code for OpenTable since the iframe after you hit submit is opening off the page in whatever version of Windows I was using over at the restaurant.

The problem was that the last web person copy and pasted the rendered code from a web page into this site's pages instead of just using script embeds provide by OpenTable and Locu.

I've never worked with OpenTable and Locu so didn't know what their code was supposed to look like.

One last thing. One the reservation's page after you hit Find a Table it is supposed to open in the center of the page in a Lightbox type window. When I was over at the restaurant on their Windows8 PC it was opening off the page. I've since put the correct code so hopefully this fixed it.

Can you hit Find a Table and tell me if it is opening in the middle of the page or off screen.

middle of the screen

That's odd I'm using IE8 and it worked. Seemed like it loaded a bit slower as opposed to Firefox and Chrome though.

Edit: Nevermind my dumb ass didn't see there was a second page before I replied.

Sorry, never got back here to answer the questions you asked, but others did an I am glad to see it got fixed. You are not alone having problems with IE8/XP, it is a bastard of a setup and a lot of sites that load on both older and newer versions of IE/Windows fail on IE8/XP. That is why I use it, a lot of surfers still use IE8/XP and by using it myself I can see if my own sites are fucking up on it. Incidentally PayPal should also try using it. It is currently impossible to use PayPal to pay for stuff on IE8/XP. If I want to buy anything I either have to surf on one of my other computers or fire up FireFox or Chrome on this one.

Yesterday I finally got Parallels with Windows XP up and running on a Mac mini and then installed IE8 into that. So now I'm able to test stuff under IE8 and the beauty of this setup is that it's running on a Mac that I can access via screen sharing so it doesn’t slow down my work computer.

I think I wasted more time trying to clean up that site then if I had just built it from scratch. Even this morning I found another minor issue. The person that built it had used Century Gothic in their stylesheets which would be great if all computers actually had that font installed so I replaced it with the Google front Didact Gothic that is being loaded from Google.

That's the same reason I liked mine until a virus/malware destroyed my system a couple weeks back even with virus protection in place so be careful surfing.

If it looked proper with IE8/XP it nearly showed up perfect everywhere else except for the occasional spacing issue, font size difference or display of a table. Nothing that breaks just looks a slight different which I can ignore.

This reminds me I really need to get that system rebuilt and when I buy a mac need to figure out what cleo was talking about.

http://www.parallels.com/

Runs pretty decent. Needs lots of RAM. Tends to slow down your computer when it's open so I prefer to run it on another Mac and use screen sharing to view that Mac's screen.

Macs come with built-in screen sharing capabilities, which can be accessed from the Sharing preference pane. The Mac's screen sharing capability is based on the VNC (Virtual Network Computing) protocol, which means not only can you use another Mac to view your screen, you can use any computer that has a VNC client installed.

Thanks for the parallel link. Took a quick look now and plan on reading a bunch more later :)
