I heard that the main reason guys pick it up is so they can attract the ladies. ;)

Singing's a lot harder to learn, but works much better with the ladies. |pimpin

I once went down on a chick with unusually long pubic hair that made a twanging sound when I pulled them out of my teeth. Does that count? I wouldn't consider myself much of a musician, but she seemed pleased by my rhythym. :D

Trombone and choir in high school.
Taught myself guitar in college, played in several bands.. toured a bit KC, Des Moisnes, Denver areas.
We did a lot of solo stuff but shoe horned a bit with a 60's teen idol, who just happened to be our guitarists dad.. lol
I was lead singer and back up guitar, music minor and in the choir in college too.
Rockabilly, Elvis, Buddy Holly stuff mostly.
Shit load of fun cranking out old tunes.
Idiot manager for the final 2 years and we decided to call it quits.
Our lead guitarist and still my best friend is still going strong! Rock on Robb's Keep Rockin (his site sucks, on my summer to do list) :D
Fender guitars and amps mostly, though at the end used Kramer semi hollow body. Sounds like an acoustic, plays like electric, and weighs about 3 pounds.
Since we moved up here, Evan has all the guitars back in the Cities, 6 or 7 of them I think.

More than once played for nothing as our bar tab was bigger than our pay |cool|

Haha... when I was a little girl I tried to learn to play flute but it did upset my Dad who was working at home so much that I was allowed to play it in a small room only so i stopped it. He needed peace working on his novels.. other than that he loved music and used to play the piano like a pro and even the organ in the church if one of his friends asked him to play on their wedding.

Hmmm - started out with violin - classically trained including going to college for a music degree - until I dropped out - picked up piano and all the other orchestral instruments along the way.
Played in bands starting out in 1966 and playing bass and keyboards.

Now I stick with my Fender Jazz bass and my Korg Triton for my fun - played a fun jam gig last weekend in a college town doing a lot of Pink Floyd and J Taylor stuff.

Pics from the place we played - http://www.davesdarkhorse.com/ although it looks like the WM(my stepson) hasnt updated for a few days :)
