Living in Vegas makes gambling a big no no for me :)....I'm such a prude!

yeah it's a WHOLE different thought process when you live there.. you can't go "back home" and make more money..

I lived there for 6 yrs and if you are a gambleholic like me.. you have to completely change your thought process.. vegas for residents is a cold hard city and, rightly so, landlords, bill collectors don't "play". |skull|

but we found FUN and Great times in other ways!!

I have got my flight booked but have not made room reservations yet. I am waiting to see if a friend of mine invites me to stay at her house.

This is my first time to the convention and am looking forward to it.

Gmoney will arrive on Friday in Vegas on Friday, spend that day with his folks.
We'll arrive at the hotel on Saturday and be there till Wed.

We have been steadily booking Vegas stuff all along, we have some of the rooms, the Booth is good to go, have most of the advertising goods as well.

Does anybody know a place to board dogs in Vegas? We're going to be driving down (yup, from Canada) & then on to Mexico after the convention so my puppies will be in tow.

That's how I get by the whole time. Most of my time is checking out the girls and trying to get in to see shoots. The next is networking, gabbing it up striking deals. I love shows!

Ugh. I guess I should book now. I hate making plans.

Last year I got deathly ill on the second day I was there and missed the whole show. Never even left the hotel room the last 3 days. Hopefully this year will be a lot better. |bananna|

is there a place where SPONSORS go when they are looking for help with promoting their product line (sites or produucts or services ) to other webmasters ... and when the SPONSOR needs help at the events (conventions and get-to-gethers) with meeting and greeting and networking with webmasters ??

I guess there might be companies that aren't actually considered a sponsor - but might ALSO need the same type help... so include those type companies in this question as well....

2 - sponsor a party
3 - meet people at parties & on the convention floor

Actually Chop I think Bell is asking 1 of 2 things,

1) in the event she was looking to promote something at a booth where would she be able to find sites that would help her set that up or what I was thinking is the more likely
2) If there are currently any sponsors out there that might be looking for help in the booths, parties, etc, or that might need a hand with the networking angle, that Bell would be interested in being someone that helps a sponsor out. Or in general where do we go to get the help.

For example Extreme will need more than the normal 3-4 people we travel with, so we will be flying in somewhere in the area of 12-14 staff members to help with Booth Staffing, answering questions, helping with our Pre-Party on the night of the 4th and with our Affiliate party on the night of the 5th. As well as any other parties we might sponsor or events we might get involved in.
