Jim - thats because your station probably has a source of farm deisel which is now legal to pump - its always been cheaper - but they probably arent telling you its dyed deisel :)

I thought that too Linkster but after a few miles of driving, all stations have diesel cheaper. It was like this a few years ago...one week diesel is cheaper than gas, the next, not. Thinking about how refinement works, diesel should always be cheaper.

It reminds me of when they were first making leaded gas illegal. Now, they had to add the lead to the gas so it should have been more expensive but nope...unleaded was more expensive. It wasn't like they had to remove the lead...they just had to stop adding it.

I'm telling you...living in a farm area, biodiesel is looking good. I can get the ingredients and for just $4k, I can buy the refining equipment.
