Oh - the Netpond thing - all Beta Brigade or Netpond Cash as far as I know & all are considered Free Hosts in my book & have been for years now.

i cant believe an linksite owner will think: i am not in the mood to review so i just reject them, what can be possible is the fact : if they review an couple of sites from the same person and those sites have the same mistake all the time, that they will say.oh thats harry, the guy with the same mistake everytime i wont check i just delete him.... just an example

Pendo, I think I can see where you are coming from. Let me answer this from 2 points of view which are both based on my personal experince.

Submitor - I have sent free sites to LL and see no traffic is sent, my gut feeling is that 'ah these guys are just fleecing me for a link'

Webmaster - I have a LL which I had to stop taking new listings on so I could complete a project. HOWEVER people still keep sending me shit, cleary via their submit lists etc.

My Conclusion - Somes times people just bite off more then they can chew and don't see what they started through to the end & or just have a massive to do list.

Lets say we all found a LL that listed the same day without fail - they would get so many submits that delays / non listings would soon be happening.

Anyhow as I say thats how I look at it, I think this is what you were asking |thumb

Like others said, first, make sure your free sites are getting accepted. Easiest way to find that out is checking your referral log.

When I first started building free sites, I spent about 3-4 hours submitting to about 200 LLs, and I remember wondering if I can somehow shorten the huge list. Being a newbie, all the LLs looked pretty much the same to me, so it wasn't easy figuring out who not to submit to.

After tracking traffic for a month, I figured about 15 LLs were sending me 75% of the traffic, and the top 15 list changed depending on the free site niche.

For example, LOR sends above average traffic for "hairy" because for one thing, there are fewer free sites on their hairy page.

Tons of hits doesn't mean alot of sales though, so if you are targetting SE traffic, then I'd create a list running keywords on google.

e.g. if you create a submit list using google result from "amateur sex", you'd have 1. LOR 2. smutgremlins 3. penisbot 4. debauchery (they have a huge backlog i believe) 5. hoes, etc. Again, depending on the number of links on the "amateur" pages on those LLs, your mileage will vary.

I thought pendo was ok as far of hosting was... and didnt check whois info... dam really I hate to have to remove your sites.. but if you change hosts in the next couple days, I will leave your sites I got listed.. and really as cheap as hosting is for free sites and a few gallery submitts they should be nothing holding you back...post back in this thread if you change hosts...

I changed my whois info, you can see now it's mine domain.
And I don't know about my host, they just have those DNS's...I host at hosthead.com

Ok i was going by what was said, and for all free site submitters, have your nameserver as unclouded as possible - makes it a lot easier to find out quickly that it is pay hosting... My whois is phat servers and thats with it says and if I paste my name server in a browser it takes me right to there home page and there's no question about it,

you no reviewing is a pain in the ass, so many people have clouded name servers and you gotta surf to them to determin if there bogus or not, you would be surprised what you find... infact if its to much BS to find out I am just deleting the submission - shit gets old...

Well.. if you can make a mental note that we do not offer any kind of free hosting. So if you do see ns1.something.hosthead.com it is legit, and valid paid hosting.

Sorry for the confusion, but that is the way we do things.

Well, you may not offer free hosting, but how about your clients? Do you have any sponsors as clients? Many of them offer free hosting on their servers.
