I didn't know "I fought the law, and the law won" was an opera :D

What may be more disturbing is the fact that some 12 Daily Pro members have actually told ABC4 News they "don't care" where the money comes from.
Sounds like they spoke to Mr Ann.

Ahh yes, the fat lady does have a beautiful voice :D

I've stayed out of this because of the drama. But I have to say to Ann Onmess that I stopped submitting to your link list after reading half of the first page of the first thread you wrote on this. Now, I'm just a small fry and my free sites may not mean much but all I could think is "Damn, no one is going to want to have thier recip on the same page as hers/his." So, I pulled you right out of my submission routine. I have to wonder why you didn't consider how this would affect your working relationships with people on the board here. How many people won't work with you now?

Oh well, I'll crawl back into thread reading mode now. Don't want to keep beating the dead horse.

LOL

"By the account of both supporters and detractors, 12DailyPro is multimillion dollar internet auto-surf company with well over 300,000 members worldwide. And now it's administrator, Charis Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina is asking for more money -- a donation, not an "investment". She is collecting funds from those who remain loyal to her and the company for a "legal defense fund". As of Sunday night, Johnson says she's collected enough to cover "34%" of the retainer required by her lawyers."

Wonder if Mr Ann is planning on sending part of his earnings to help them out?

Ramster 2006-02-07 02:46 PM

odysseus, I'm with you. I too lost all respect.

docholly 2006-02-07 03:15 PM

|shocking| dammit!! I needed a new get rich quick scheme where I didn't have to do anything but log on and let my computer auto-surf.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A dumpster diving auto surfer, Dad. Just like you. |dizzy|

LowryBigwood 2006-02-07 03:16 PM

Damn. Crazy shit. Welp... It's not a big surprise to me either. I don't know Ann personally, but I am amazed that this thread was even started to begin with.

Note To Self - Don't try to recruit GG&Jim members into a pyramid scheme. :)

Swedguy, Torn: The information Stormpay gave to ABC News, and the spin ABC put on it, is not accurate. 12 Daily suspended operations entirely because Stormpay seized their funds. Stormpay claims it is the result of an investigation done by their bank. I called Stormpay's bank yesterday and talked to a vice president there. She said the bank is not aware of any investigation into 12 Daily, that the freeze on their funds was entirely an action of Stormpay. No government investigators have contacted 12 Daily, a whole week after their accounts were frozen. Nothing that Stormpay is claiming is turning out to be true. I think it's all a smokescreen to cover the fact that they didn't have enough funds in their account to cover a big withdrawal.

natalie 2006-02-07 03:41 PM

lol we all need to bullshit ourselves from time to time just to get to sleep at night :P

Ann Omness 2006-02-07 03:51 PM

As things stand, I'm just waiting to see if the lawyers can shake the money loose from Stormpay. They had no legal right to seize the money, any more than your bank could seize yours, so I remain hopeful. No authorities authorized the seizure, and Stormpay isn't claiming that any did. I'm guessing they grabbed something in the neighborhood of $300 million.

"ABC4 News did successfully contact the Attorneys General offices in both North Carolina and Georgia. Both confirmed active investigations into LifeClick L.L.C. and 12 Daily Pro, but neither has yet to take any action."

Does your bullshit ever stop Mr Ann???? |flush|

MrYum 2006-02-07 05:41 PM

Boo fuckin hooo |cry|

Nothing worse than a scammer whining about being scammed. As to your remaining 'hopeful'...I remain hopeful you'll get fucked in the ass with no lube.

Hard to believe you've got the cahonas to first off come here and try to lure others into this scheme, THEN come back and CRY like a whiney little bitch when the hammer comes down |crazy|

Note for the lovely ladies of the board: I consider 'whiney little bitch' to be an asexual term for someone acting like Mr Ann. It has nothing to do with the female persuasion...cuz I love da ladies :D

I really find it hard to believe that a bank gave someone info about what's going on with someone elses business account.
