Hey Bell...there's tons of places to eat here late at night....we are a 24/7 town...but like everyone has said, I wouldn't suggest any late night buffets....stick with the regular cafe's and late night specials. |thumb

Hi Bell! Officially this will be my first time attending Internext....went to a couple of parties and met a few people last year though. I haven't really thought about which booths to stop by....same deal with the parties...mostly just wanna network and meet people while having fun at the same time. Will definitely see you there! :)

It's getting real close now Bell, im sure your getting fired up. We have a countdown in our office every year, usually starts around 120 days or so (until we leave for the show), well when we get into the office tommorow, it will be 4 Days Till Vegas for us. |bananna|

oh john... I am REALLY excited....

I hope the weather isn't too cold for all that walking I have heard we'll have to do from the Venetian to the conv. floor...

and no one needs to worry that I'll be hitting them up for a job.... everyone know's I am looking for an opportunity that is right for me .... so there's no need for me to approach people regarding that when they are trying to have fun there....

someone will snatch me up...

I'm not a techie... I'm not a programmer... and I'm not a graphics person... - - - I get a kick out of putting it that way - cause I know it jerks a few people's chains...

LOL.....

basically I am a marketing-people person... hard working... loyal... trustworth... fun... goal oriented wizardette.... with tons f ideas and even more energy... I am the ultimate multi-tasker... oh and did I mention I LOVE PEOPLE... I am all about helping webmasters be successful - if possible...

and I eat chocolate with 2 hands...

and take diet pepsi introveiniously...

I am relocatable for the right op...

I speak English and English and sailor talk... LOL...

I'd say from past experience, there is as much business done in the bars in the venetian/rio/harrahs etc.. than there is done on the floor at the convention.

take a good pair of tennis shoes, cuz trust me adult companies don't care, and there are so many hired models to look stunningly good and HAVE to wear heels that they'll never see our feet anyway.

when i was there a couple of years ago..ok several years ago, there was a mini-job board near i think the 'lounge' area, so you might want to look around for that as well.

betty and i are thinking of gettting tee shirts that read..

Tits on her front..

ass on my back..

as if someone couldn't tell already!!

I absolutely love to sit in the grand canal mall area and just watch all the people stroll around..

and the V bar is a good place to meet at if you want to make appointments and talk business, nice little areas for conversations..

there are just so many 1 of a kind attractions in vegas its really hard to pinpoint 1 or 2 not to miss. I do plan on going back to Mandalay Bay Aquarium, because it was truly a great experience for me. but i also want to go to Red Rock Canyon which is a desolate and beautiful spot in the desert.

One thing that is really hard to focus on once you get there is to not hop on the party trail and forget to network. That's really what i've found is so distracting because once you are there you will meet people that you totally didn't even know about who will invite you to functions, parties, events and unless there is some profitability down the road for you and what you want to accomplish, then that is really just a total social experience. and i'm not saying that you have to be 100% business because it is fun, just that it's very easy to slip off track and suddenly it's Wednesday afternoon and you've only seen 1/3 of the people you wanted to.

the most important thing to pack, in my opinion, is the list, physical or mental, of why you are attending and make sure that you accomplish those intentions. If you intent is to "party" then i'd say you have a 110% chance of accomplishing that.

p.s. keep your ears open for me if you hear of anyone

the convention - that isn't what I am looking for...

and if you will have a cell phone with you that has a phone
number I am allowed to have - please PM or eMail that to me...
