GG, the guy on the sideline with the flag/asst ref try to position himself in a straight line with the last defender so he can make the offside determination. Offside is a very tricky rule, I do ref school games and some local games here and always get bitched for not calling offside and it's so sad that many players, even coaches in that level don't know the true offside rules. All I know is, I get bitched a lot...LOL

To be honest, I expect Germany to win but this world cup has had many upsets already. I know it's going to be a great game to watch and Germany needs to play sharp or they will pay for it. I think it's going to be an end to end action for a good portion of the game.

Since Belgium isn't playing I'm rooting for Brazil but so far they sucked but even when they suck they win all their games. I might put some money on Argentina to win the cup..

Great second half last night from Sweden.
I think England should be glad for 2-2! It was pretty close that we scored another goal.

England got a pretty "easy" game against Ecuador, Ecuador are in the playoffs because of lousy teams in their group (excl. Germany).
No games are easy, but some are easier...

Germany isnt THAT good and got ALL the pressure from the German people. Sweden are not supposed to win this match and are underdogs without pressure from the Swedish people (we are just glad to be in the WC, we are a hockeynation).

Its going to be a great and tough game on saturday, I am looking forward to it.

Holland - Argentina.. that's a final (well... semi-final) on it's own. Too bad they're both playing with their "B-teams" since all the players that are already booked with a yellow card will not play tonight out of safety reasons.

just came back from Germany .... got to tell You from what I saw Dutch played like pussies (except arjen robben ... hat's down for him) Argentina is my no.1 favorite they are oh so... so ... strong and Brazilians ... well they are Brazilians :D
