Well he owes Marie 1k and I think he burned another Aussie couple quite badly - and that ultimately sowed some seeds of disharmony between a couple of us that unfortunately still pop up today.

Then there was the drowning and Greenie's flowers :)

Greenguy 2003-09-11 06:45 AM

DDave....you forgot to mention the part about him coming back from the dead right after that article came out....claiming he was incarcerated in a Northeast jail in the US :)

NotThatKevin 2003-09-11 08:39 PM

I was taken by a con artist on Penny's board last year and the guy eventualy commited suicide when the police were closing in on him. DD will remember the shays :)

I remember the GFY thread in which Kevin (using another name) decided to post about the "massive 40%" he was offering webmasters. Maybe this is what sent Globill over the edge?

After they had roasted him about the short fall of at least 10% on what they were already promoting. The GFY regulars started to examine the contents of the Teen paysite Kevin had just spammed them with.

Comments were made about the design skills this paysite tour was born from. Rectangular pics framed in tables with border="20", black plain page with

hyperlinks in default font and a title logo which had been pixelated by the shores of hell.

The pics, which were supposed to be Teen, were in fact mostly pornstar pics. A sample video proved to be stolen content - the big clue was the URL of the site it was stolen from being still visible on the movie.

Someone must have run a link-bot over it because they actually found a link into his members area and raped him for bandwidth. While also reporting him for stolen content.

Here ends the lesson.

If you are gonna spam a message board like GFY with your paysite make sure you have cast iron underwear and a hosting company who you don't mind being blacklisted by.

I seem to recall that he was writing for Adult Buzz at one stage and was touting himself as some sort of Dreamweaver expert.

He was inviting questions so I wrote to him about some Dreamweaver problem that was bugging me and I'm still waiting for a reply :)

In the end I stopped being lazy and worked out the solution myself - for me to find the solution meant that it must have been something dead simple |goodnight

i love these threads - i load my blacklist with this info - keep it coming

Alex

I know what you are talking about - mostly paysite names sending traffic to topbucks reality sites. SE listing like this are usually caught after they are around a month or two.
