Hmmm. SpookyX's post hit this board while I was reading through other threads and I suddenly realised I could rule this thread. Unless I seriously oversleep I am always up at 2AM USA time (either coastline). But then your 2AM is "morning" over here!

Well I'm up. At the time you posted this I was in the shower. I'm now eating Nestlé's Lion breakfast cereal (Very bad cereal sugar wise, but my BSL readings are shot at the moment, so a little more won't make much difference). And I am wondering why SpookyX is so excited about being up at this time. After all I got up a bit late today (about 7:20), but still well before the roll call!

Or changed time zones. 2am Eastern was easy when I lived in Texas. 2am Finnish Time is like 9am Finnish time - I am almost always asleep at that hour since we are usually up until 4am our time - 9pm Eastern. Yeah.. it's a mess. I do keep two clocks running as I do a lot of work in the states and Canada.

It's a bit past 2AM ET in the United States. I started with this as a hobby about five years ago and have only made a few dollars in all the time. I am now hoping I can dedicate more time and consistency to the biz.

Anyone willing to comment about how things have changed in five years and what I might consider as I rework my site? There are no Newbie Questions lately. What happened?

You really should have started a new thread for these questions, you would have got more replies that way. But in answer:

toosxxx4.com - Pink text on green background does not show up well, you need more contrast. More importantly, your enter link (white on pink) also does not show up well. Most surfers will not search for it, they will assume your site is a one page ad, and move on somewhere else. Inside the site; change the term "interactive striptease gallery". They are not "stripteases", if you are not sure what a striptease is, don't use the term, and if you do know what a striptease is, why the hell did you call these galleries "striptease"? Also loose the word "interactive", surfers will expect a greater amount of control (eg "click here to make her take off her top - click here to make her take off her skirt - click here to make her take off her shoes - click here to make her dance"). When all they get is a bit of mouseover javascript they will feel cheated and be a lot less likely to trust your adverts.

toosxxx4.com/jaylene-rio/busty - design is fine (IMHO) except some list sites insist on only two galleries. Also some insist on more thumbs per gallery (some 12, some 15).

toosxxx4.com/galleries/am...re/thehun.html - Well that is fine for the Hun who does not like too obvious an advert. However if you are using the same gallery for other sites, you need to make it more of a sales pitch. You are not just giving away free porn, your main aim is to sell stuff.

I'd avoid the newbie board, you will get a lot more response on the general business board. IMHO it was a big mistake when G created all the individual boards, the site was a lot better when all business related things were on one board. The worst to suffer were the newbies. They post questions on the newbie board, but most long term members don't look at it regulally so the people with the experience and knowledge to help may not see your question!

What should I call them? They are different from other non-interactive galleries. Besides mouseover they also have autoplay that runs through images on a timed basis automatically.

I am more bothered by the concern that users will not click on my ads in the galleries. Can you point me to a sample gallery that you believe was better done? I think my latest interactive gallery may emphasize advertising better and wonder if you agree:

Well take a look at a few sponsor's galleries from successful sponsors, they usually know what they are doing (NB "usually", not "always", so look at several).

Yes. However if you are using the Hun's recip (or any recip) Id swap round the adverts (banner at the top, text ad at the bottom) simply because the text looks like a description of the Hun's site, not of a description of the site that goes with the pictures. I'd also link all the text around the banner to the sponsor (not just the banner) and change the text around the banner to the site to say "Click here for more Elli!"
