For a sponsor you can't get any more targeted traffic that type in traffic. It converts the best. Hands down.

Not to sure if you will get the same conversions from people typing into a linklist or tgp but it still has to be pretty good.

If I were an affiliate I would buy a domain name for each sponsor and redirect that domain right to the sponsor tour on it's own campaign.

The part about 'evolve or die', well youtube already seems old to me. Sure now we have a porno-tube, where was the evolution in that jump.
