Greenguy, as i said on icq and here, i came to explain, resolve not complictae things. I have treid to do that.

#1. I can't force members, guests or any spiders to login.
#2. The rate of growth is not linear in any business, when I opend the site curiosity, advertising did get us a very fast start. Especially with the per post, per referral and contests. And I did tell you on icq that Ideleted 3000 odd non active posters about a week ago. I don't disagree with your statement.

#3 I would love to be on the show, I have prior commitments tonight I can't let down, but if we can arrange a date next week or the following week I would be honored to do it. I appreciate you making the offer.

What I would like to add is I came here to make things right fix misunderstandings,I hope you appreciate I have tried to do just that and in a polite and proffesional manner.

You come out with lolipop but why is he/she not claiming the $1000 and not posting on the thread where the members congratulating her/him? I even saw lolipop post on other threads.

Same thing with lindasmum. While the contest was going on you pretended to be suspicious of her/him if lindasmum is not the person she/he claims to be. She won the most popular contest but even if she is posting to some other threads she didnt come up to claim her prize of $1000?

Ok - let me get all this straight, as most of it confuses the hell out of me.

1 - You have 4000+ members (was 7000+) that somehow registered for the board without putting in their birthday, which is required.

2 - You usually have 3000+ "guests" on the board looking at the index page & not looking at threads or doing anything else.

3 - You were averaging 200 members a day for the 1st 15 days & then around 100 per day until around the time the board database crashed. Since then, you're getting 5-10 new members a day.

You don't think any of these things are odd?

You didn't wonder why these things were happening?

Why the board script was allowing people to register without a birthday?

Why so many people would come to the index page & then stop?

I've posted on & ran boards since 1998. If I saw these things happening on my board, I'd want to know why they were happening.

I guess we'll find out next week on the Radio Show :D

Around here, posts are down if it's a holiday or the weekend or there's a big convention going on. Posts are up if there's a piss going on, a good thread with a lot of discussion on a hot topic, etc. These things we all know & expect.

If all of a sudden 3000 people showed up on the board's index page, I'd be looking into it until I found out why & how.
