Yeah, we did nothing to cause this.
Vickie just got back from 2 doctors. One, looked at everything except where she said she had pain. She told the doctor that she was having nightmares and I told him that it wakes me up at night. His answer was "No, this incident wouldn't cause that".

The next doctor...an eye specialist said that she will regain full sight in a couple of weeks. Funny, you go to a doctor setup by your lawyer and they say she may never see again and you go to your own specialist and he says that she will be fine. :)

Bullshit. If the doctor has that little of an understanding of psychology I'd never bother with him again. A traumatic event such as this can cause any number of temporary, or even permanent, neuroses. Call him a cunt and find another doctor.

I often wake in the middle of night remember words written by you. Is that considered a neuroses? :)

I am sure she will be fine Jim :) Trust your own specialist and hope she won't have a permanent neurosis.. with your love and help and patience you are helping her the way she needs best.

The doc who saud this incident wouldn't cause nightmares and waking up - gotta be wrong there. I had a bad car crash years ago with the wife (she was driving - sober, not even one drink) I was drunk. Took her about 6 months to get over it, nightmares, sudden crying etc. I agree with UW for once, this caused it, and don't forget to tell your lawyer about this added stress/shock/after-effects.
