Seriously though, I only see this Captcha thing from a freesite submitter's side, and Viper is aiming at link list owners, which I'm not, but....
...any freesite builder that lets those codes stop a submit can't be that serious about submitting.
It looked to me like Viper had a purpose here other than simply to educate, like pushing his own script or something.
I'm happy to be wrong though.

I've had serious problems with some. The colours of the characters blended so well with the background I just could not make them out. 10 mins and more on a single submission's captcha is taking the piss. At that point I did walk away from three or four of them.

But once I pointed it our in my earlier thread, everybody took a look at their own captchas and those that had bad ones did something about it. So in essence, you're right. It's about getting things in proportion.

And I still prefer the Ms&Ps. ;)

Furthermore I pay for TGP submit and still have to put a capcha there too. Richard realm user name and PW . Its all work just do it and be positive dude. Life can be worse man just be lucky and grateful you're healthy enough to work at all.
