I'm home in a Houston suburb and it's getting a little ugly outside. Winds are picking up and it's getting a bit dark. I'm just hanging out and enjoying the electricity before it goes out.

Oh, btw, I had my baby on Wednesday and six hours later, the hospital went into evacuation mode, shut down and sent me and my 3 week early baby home. |cry|

What town are you in? I'm in Missouri City.

Actually that's a good thing. When he gave his speech from The French Quarter last week they pumped in power from all over the city to light up the area. I'm sure that it diverted dozens (maybe 100s) of people and cost 6 figures to the speech there instead of the White House.
