Fact is we have the best adult community on the internet.

Most of the dislikes are related to technical issues associated with a canned script and just plain old human nature. We are lucky to have Sparky to address the technical issues. but we will have to live with the harsh comments, rants and occasional drama as it is difficult to moderated life.

I would like to see the moderators get active again. Seems to me that in the beginning, each forum had a moderator that knew their shit. When one of the 'know it all posters' gave bad advice or info, you could depend on a 'bull shit' or 'I don't agree' reply from the forum moderator. (Damn, I miss Danger Dave). A person can take harness as long as he knows he is getting correct feed back.

Good morning, Jim, and happy birthday to the world. I remember the time when you shared your knowledge and business opinions. |couch|

I know Chop...and to tell you the truth, this summer has been very busy for me. I told Sparky a few days ago that I have been spending way too much time doing something for the board every day that used to be easy :) And now that summer is over, it is getting easy again. So, you can count on me pissing and moaning about the injustices in our business. And, as you say, sharing everything I know with everyone. :)

Likes - the community. I've moved twice in 8 years, but to me, it doesn't really matter where the hell I move. It's like a family right here.
New Posts - a real time saver
Email Alerts - a reviewers life saver
The no BS help - I still don't have a clue sometimes either (well ok, most of the time)

Dislikes - I really don't have any.
In the real world your boss reprimands you. So getting flamed a bit shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. GG and I don't always agree on certain topics, but we leave it at that, we agree to disagree and move on.
Tuesday night radio show - I'm normally at some sports thing on Tuesday nights. Wed works good though :)

I do have one suggestion - the top of the message board screen has this line of clickable links "User CP FAQ Calendar New Posts Search Quick Links Log Out"

I would love to also see that same line at the bottom of the page... ! always have to scroll to the top after I reply or finish reading the posts... so much simplier to click on the link to "new posts" or search without have to scroll (ok I guess im a lazy biatch)|roses|

Hi

I am glad I have found this board as the other ones I have looked at are just unhelpful loads of idiots without a clue. Here it seems everyone is a pro which is great because I am in the biz to make money.

Yes I am new to boards but been running my paysites for 2 years now.

Anyway off to learn more about traffic sources as I want to spread out a bit now so watch out I will be asking...lol

Well guys, we really appreciate all your comments. And, we have been actively making changes to fit your needs.

One of the features of this new version of the board is a better infraction system. Moderators can now give people infractions for different things like undue insults, spamming...etc. After a certain amount of infractions, the board will automatically ban the person with the infractions. This is the first time the moderators will be able to actively participate in the banning of people that really should find a different board.

We are also in the process of building a bigger, better way to deliver our list of sponsors, news and resources. I do believe that no other resource site has ever done it the way we will be doing it. Obviously, this "thing" is going to take some time. We really hope to have it up and running by the end of this month. I know MrMaryLou is working his fingers to the bone.

Absolutely. Every board should have a better infraction system. |thumb

Does that new infraction system issue a warning before it tilts?

When he was active, I have a good friend that would have sent the new system in overload for undue insults. Think I need to avoid the board when those certain cocksucking moods hit me.

The key word is "undue" insults. And yeah, whenever you get an infraction, you get notified. We hardly used it before but are going to start using it once we get it setup right.

But even before this, it always took a lot to get banned. Spammers thought it took too little but everyone else, you had to do something really bad.

Jim 2006-10-02 07:30 AM

As a matter of fact, leaving out spammers, I think we have only banned 3 people at most. Let me think... Everyone knows about one person...you can't even say his program's name. One questioned my honesty and that may be it...

One more thing...remember, only moderators and admins can use this system. So, nothing would have overloaded.
