I once worked for a plumbing company where I would show up an hour early to plow the parking area. It was always done before I got there. My boss always said, "It's admirable that you come in early to plow but, you have to come in about an hour earlier if you really want to do it". :) But then again, every real job I have ever had, I was always the first in for some reason.

My first site I go to review locks up my browser. Is that a bad sign?

The deforesting is almost over. There may only be one more load :( Now I have a neighbor begging to buy the land to hunt it. Since we always fed the Deer and Turkey in the winter, they are as tame as a wild animal can be. So, they are sitting ducks come hunting season. It is a quandry for me. I have another 5-10 years that I have to wait to get 30 acres cut. Just not sure what to do. Anyone that buys the land will do it to hunt. I have one neighbor that won't but, I haven't talked to him yet.

I'm guessing in the next life you will come back as a soon to be veal meal.

I'm a reviewer, not a copy writer. I edit most broken English descriptions, assuming they are paired with good sites. But occasionally, you need to let the submitter know that he or she is being more burdensome than many other submitters. Would Litwa rather have been warned about his descriptions or would he rather be silently blacklisted when I get really tired of correcting them? His sites are good and I want to list them all, but I also want to see improvement in his descriptions. The site I rejected could be resubmitted with a better description and it would get listed.

It's not my intention to be unfair to those who have learned English as a second language. Look at Vasi, for example. Reading his posts on the board tells me that he is still learning Engish, but his site descriptions are good. I don't know if he has someone else write them or if he just takes the extra time to proofread them, but they are always good and always make sense.

But the wonderful thing about running a Link List is writing up your own reviews. Sure, you can put whatever they want in there, but then you run into this problem plus if you use their description, you'll have the same description as the other sites he submitted too.

Of course, I am old school :D

I do sometimes rewrite stuff if I really like the site and I didn't get so pissed off that they put the same thing in the title and description with two words added.

The real issue, besides the fact that I'm lazy, is the main reviewer for Cleo's is a Brazilian woman which English is her third language and probably not the best choice for someone to be writing enticing and descriptive English slang.

I rewrite them if I like the site. I also rewrite for good submitters that have a terrible time writing descriptions (the text on their sites are fine) so they will get more traffic to their site. Of course this all depends on my mood and how much time I have |dizzy|

I am sorry for my mistakes i discriptions, i will check texts carefully and will ask friends if there will be a problem for me.

What's the current backlog for Javes? I submitted a site a couple of days ago and I am just curious... and damn impatient :)

There is no backlog at Javes. The queue is emptied daily.

If I didn't get a decline/acceptance email, does that mean that I was deleted or should I try to re-submit? I'm fairly new to building freesites, I am a gallery builder, but I thought it was fairly clean and the content is not too overused, although I have used some pics from this set in a gallery. I did change a couple of things after I submitted (I noticed a couple of the thumbs weren't linked to their corresponding full size pic) so maybe your script picked that up...

Truthfully, I don't recall seeing that one. Whether or not I would accept it would come down to my mood at the time of review. The banner on main page contains an image of a fake video player and I often perceive those as a blind link, but it is in the middle of an half-page ad, so maybe not. Definatelty would depend on whether or not I had my morning coffee. |loony|

You realize that those vid caps will get you declined at most of the places you've reciped on the index, right? Breaking their rules wouldn't make me decline the site. Just wanted to make sure you know that.

I keep forgetting about that rule.
I gotta buy my content somewhere else :)

Your blog lacks an abundance to textual monologue, which is what makes a blog. Lot's of links to the pics page, but not a lot of meaty posts.
