Hope its not too cheeky but ive finally made my first freesite - only took 8 months! - and i do know its crap but i cant work out why if that makes sense?!

Would anyone mind havin a quick look givin me a bit of the old constructive please?! I need to know so i can get on and sort it out cos after 8 months ive got a fair bit of catching up to do!! If it is a bit of a cheek sorry in advance!!

I started in January 2006 and fell ass backwards into my first check in about 30 days. :D

Since that first check covered my hosting, etc everything since then has been profit.

Made my first real site in '99 right after I graduated highschool, it was a bikini/babe site. I used the money I got from family and friends for graduation to buy my domain and hosting. It took off pretty fast and I was making a little over 1k a month by the end of that summer. I was still living at home and working a security job at a department store. I saved all my money I made that summer and fall and got my own apartment in December of 99. After I was out of my mom and dad's house I started getting more hardcore and moving away from the bikini stuff since I started off on their computer, haha. Then in December I made my site a totally and completely circle jerk site. At first I did it all
with hard links and by the end of Jan 2000 I was making more money a day than I had dreamed of, at the time it was like 250-300/day but that was an insane amount of money to me since I was still working my 6$/hour security job. Quit my job in Feb and started yet another circle jerk site. Then in March I bought my first UCJ scripts and when I put those on my sites they rocket launched and I was making close to 1k/day. Then things just slowly started deteriorating and going down as the months went by because of the CJ sites dying out, I was still making decent money, but things had dropped alot. Then I had some health problems, I was real bad sick for 4-5 months, and by the time I was better in late 2001 my sites and business were making pretty much nothing. I did some work here and there with some friends to make some quick money, mostly growing blind link TGPs with some bought traffic to 200-300k in a week or two and selling them off after they would hold steady for a couple weeks like anywhere from 5k-14k. But mostly I struggled and things were pretty bad for a while, I even had to get a couple offline jobs to make ends meet during 2002-2004. The in spring/summer of 2004 I started submitting galleries, thought hey I'll start from scratch like a newbie and see where that can take me. By the end of 2004 I was doing pretty good, no where close to where I used to be back in 2000 but enough to get the bills paid and not to be broke. Then as 2005 was coming to an end my galleries were slowly declining and I wanted to expand my adult biz into more than just galleries. In Jan of this year I started making free sites, which the way I am going about it I am looking at it as a very long term project, not just submitting free sites, but slowly over time building up a huge network of sites that I hope to have at its full potential in around 3 years, haha. Already the free site stuff is making more than my galleries so I am a pretty happy camper with the direction things are going now.

excellent post Mr. Exotic. I wonder how many other people can see their history in adult almost perfectly mirrored in your story.... I know there are remarkable similarities with my own story.

good luck with all your free sites and link list. I do have to say the cj business still seems to be flourishing because nine out of ten times you go to most of these mpg's and you get jerked from one site to another like there was no tomorrow.
