Tune into "Lost" on Wednesday nights only to find another repeat? ABC is eliminating that experience next season reports The San Fransisco Chronicle.
Utilising a mold recently seen on shows like "Alias", "24" and "Battlestar Galactica", the network confirmed yesterday that rather than repeats slotted in every other week, the show will go on hiatus for a few weeks over the Xmas/New Year break with new Groundhog Day-esque Taye Diggs drama "Day Break" in its slot instead. Then it'll begin again a few weeks into the new year and run uninterrupted right through til the end of season in May. More specifically: "The plan is that "Lost" will come on in the Fall in the first or second week of the season, run for seven episodes and then "Day Break" will launch into that period and "Los"t will come back in January or early February and run straight through for the remainder for the season". He also confirmed there's no new regular cast members joining next year, though everyone who survives the coming season finale will be back. |
Michelle Rodriguez to serve more jail time
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12924533/from/RS.4/
The violation stemmed from a December arrest in Honolulu on suspicion of drunk driving, for which she served five days in jail. The Honolulu arrest violated the three-year probation term Rodriguez was given in 2004 after pleading no contest to charges of hit-and-run, driving on a suspended license and driving under the influence of alcohol, Mateljan said. Rodriguez’s probation was extended until June, 2009, he said. |
Geeze... not sure if I liked it or not, a lot of questions answered, but as per LOST, so many more asked...
|
yup same here I dunno if I liked it or not. Getting to be too many characters to follow..
|
I think they answered and asked enough to draw most back next season. We kind of know why the plane crashed, we know that pushing the button wasn't useless. The new crap...who died, the old girlfriend with enough money to find anyone and the Hostiles (others) saying they were the good guys.
|
I think they left way too many questions unanswered last night.
I knew they would too. |
Yeah, I know they left a lot of unanswered questions. And, I knew they would. But, are you going to watch it next season? If yes, it worked :)

I was so wishing "Henry" would shoot Michael in the head... then I was hoping Walt would stab Michael in the back...
Not that his murders and betrayals have anything to do with it, I’m just sick of his constant whining... |
Just watched last nights show....
Anyone else laugh their ass's off over the "Boston Red Sox" part?|jester
Did you know you can watch it at abc.com ? They have episodes of their most popular shows on that site.
What happened to Hurley and Claire and the rest of the regulars? I've seen Michael in commercials, so I guess he's gone. Also, if you haven't watched THE NINE yet, give it a try. Pretty intriguing story. |

I still have last week's episode on my PVR - haven't even watched it yet. I really liked the show the first season. Now I find that there are too many questions and not enough answers. I am not in to it any more. I just watch it when I have nothing else to watch - I am even thinking of removing it from my recording events.

ABC has confirmed that "Lost" will go on mid-season hiatus after its third season's sixth episode on November 8th and return February 7th reports TV.Com.
The early and longer than usual hiatus is so that the show's return on February 7th will allow the serial drama to air uninterrupted and without repeats from February 7th right through to season finale time in late May - sixteen 'repeat free' episodes in all. In its place during the hiatus will be the new Taye Diggs drama "Day Break" starting November 15th. |banghead
I fell asleep during before the last episode. And, my wife deleted it so I was forced to watch it online. I have to say, that is a handy service abc has...without any catches.

It's now official. ABC has agreed with the producers of Tv's "Lost" and set an end point for the serial drama - with the finale to air during the 2009-10 television season.
The producers have stated before that they wanted to finish off the show after five seasons, but the network wanted more - and so a compromise had to be reached. Variety reports that "Lost" showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have signed new multi-year overall deals with ABC Television Studio to continue with the series until the end. Part of that deal was figuring out the end to the series. The result? Rather than two seasons consisting of the standard 24 episodes each, there will be three seasons of 16 episodes. These three 16-episode arcs will run uninterrupted each time, allowing the network to turn it into an 'event'. When they will air is unsure, though the finale has to screen no earlier than late 2009. The current third season will wrap up at the end of May, and combined with the 48 new episodes, the show will ultimately air approximately 119 episodes of television. __________________________ IMHO next season needs to be the last, this "second half" of the season is much better then the first, but it's starting to break down and I have trouble seeing this last to 2009. But I will still watch it! |
I am stuck watching it too. My wife claims she is done but has said that since the 2nd episode. :) I don't know if I can make it until 2009.
|
well I'm a huge "Lost" fan ... maybe it's just me but I think it started to get boring lately |yawn| |loony| |crazy|
|
I actually forgot it was on last week, which isn't a very good sign. I'm sick of 'the Others', and I often wonder why someone doesn't just kill Ben and put him out of my misery.
|
I never get to watch TV, but wish that I could keep up with this show.

Did Rupert get voted out yet?

I actually quit trying to figure out what's going on, on the island about 1/3 of the way through this season, because I got the feeling that they didn't quite know yet. Quote:

When does LOST start again? How about 24? Thanks.
