Yea! I'm finally back down to my lowest weight again. |bananna| Now if I can just keep the weight loss going on. 178.5

RedCherry 2008-09-19 10:56 AM

What really drives me crazy is it is so hard for me to lose weight but MadHatter, who should have joined in the contest has lost 10 lbs so far. |angry| All he has to do is cut out icecream and he loses weight.

What a freakin week...hopefully things are back to normal now.

The scale from hell says I'm 181.5 lbs today |headbang|

...which is quite surprising considering the amount of food I've consumed this week.

Licker4U 2008-09-19 04:13 PM

With all the low carb eating I've done one of these days my body has GOT to catch up and dump about 8 pounds overnight. Weight

And why do I weigh 3 pounds less first thing in the morning than I do in the afternoon? |huh

Two things I've noticed with all the walking that I've been doing for almost a month now. I had a doctor awhile back when I went in take my pulse while I was lying down, and it was 105. That is really high. He told me that if I can't bring it down, they might have to put me on beta blockers...which would be terrible since I have low blood pressure, it would drop that to the floor.

I asked how could I bring it down and he said start walking, build up to an hour a day.

Well took my blood pressure/pulse today and it is. 106/77 pulse 79 I've dropped my pulse almost 30 beats/minute at rest just by increasing my walking. |headbang| So I'm not terribly successful at the weight loss, but I'm rocking on the help your heart rest more. |thumb

Oh and the 2nd thing? I'm getting tan, lol.

If you're "going down" - you had better take that fucking metal out of your lip - don't want anyone getting injured. |blowjob|

RedCherry 2008-09-20 09:55 AM

I'm only slightly less today than yesterday, not enough to get the laptop out to post the pic, maybe 178.25 or something, lol. I'll check tomorrow, maybe by then it will be a flat 178. Must find the dock for my camera, then I don't have to worry about setting up the laptop.

Forgot the crucial step of actually posting the photo I took early this morning. No change. Still 210. Bike rides make me hungry.

Garlic chicken over rotelle pasta baking in the oven. Should be ready in another hour or so. Then time to boil an ear or two of sweet corn. Land O'Lakes salted butter warming on the table.

Good thing I weighed myself first.

I'll do extra laps tomorrow.

:)

Seems like a big international conspiracy - I guess my scale is fucked up too, but I blame the Chinese since they made it

Sure will if you are building muscle. I thought my about 4 mile walk today was bad, you are doing great doing that much exercise.

Make sure too you are not eating too few calories, and staying hydrated. Both can make your body hold on to every calorie.

That does remind me that I wanted to ask everyone what they were doing for their diet.

I'm trying to eat right & very little. I eat a lot of fat free yogurt (100 cal/serv), fresh fruit, home made chili or soup (this way, you know exactly what's in it), turkey sausage (ask Jim - it's fucking great!), a lot of water & only a couple of caffinated beverages to get me going in the morning.

As far as exercise, 3-4 times a week I allow this redhead & her 4 friends to beat the shit out of me doing silly looking maneuvers in my living room. 2 different height steps + 2 weights + DVD remote = fat guy dripping with sweat & giving up before the 40 min workout program is over.

I can't wait to see how it ends :D

dunc 2008-09-22 07:25 PM

Well - I've trying to cut out as much dairy, cheese, oils, hydrogenated fats and alcohol as possible.

Lots of fresh veges, fruit and grilled fish.

I found out yesterday that eating celery actually takes more energy out of your body than it gives - so if anyone's looking for a legal way of cheating - there you go :)

Exercise is on the up as well - I need a routine though

HC-Majick 2008-09-22 07:43 PM

Actually, I've been doing the treadmill/elliptical thing 6 days a week for the past 1 3/4 years. My problem is that I wasn't eating healthy. (Reese's cups are a major food group, aren't they? :D)
Since we've started this, I've kept the same gym routine, just upped the level a little, but I've changed my eating habits 100%. Lot's of veggies, chicken, and ground turkey, etc. Water and unsweetened tea, no soda at all. To help satisfy my sweet tooth, the GF has made quite a few deserts from the southbeach diet program, which are surprisingly good for being sugar free /fat free.
