I should do my excersizes but because i am busy in the house, i wont touch the treatmill, what i am trying now is doing excersizing while i am painting, like holding in my stomach muscles for 15 seconds and i do that say 3 x 15 sets, i do the same with my belly. When i have all the time again, then it will be 45 minutes treatmill in the evening (because after that thing i will be playing dead) and in daytime i will use the leg magic, i will put it next to the living room door and everytime i walk thru the livingroom door i have to do a set of 20 times, this way i forche myself and the rest in the house to move our muscles.
As far for eating its for me steak, chicken, lettuce, fruit, yogurt, cheese, tomatoes, fish, eggs, carrots
Like for today, i have for lunch, 2 boiled eggs, 150gram of spinache (YUK) and a big tomatoe, for diner i will have a steak of 200gr with a couple of drops of lemon juice, further tons of water.

I try to go to the swimming pool/sauna every second day, the other days I'm doing crunches at home. It's raining constantly since two weeks so I can't ride bike or use skipping rope at all :(

I eat white bread with low fat ham/cheese & a cup of kefir for breakfast, home made soups in the midday, and milk+cornflakes or olives+mandels as supper (In the oposite what I'd have thought, lately I discovered they are both very caloric,especialy mandels, but also full of vitamins we need so much so I keep eating them)

I also try to drink as much home made fruit (and carrot) juices as possible

I just started eating like a normal person. That's all that is ever required with me. I do enjoy a good overeating. :)

Hello all

I just wanted to tell you guys how I lost 25 lbs. ( it might help someone to get their goal)

I drink 10 -12 12oz cans of pop each and everyday . I did the math on calories and realized that I was drinking 1500 -1800 calories a day. On top of that I was eating 2500 calories a day in food.

So I changed to diet pop ( took me a while to find one I liked) but dropping that extra 1500 calories day did it.

I went from 210 lbs and wearing uncomfortably tight 38 in. jeans
to 185 lbs and wearing very comfortable 34 in. jeans over about 8 months .

would have come off faster if I would have exercised and watched what I was eating at the same time.

Hope this helps someone reach their goal

This is me, I will do really well with eating, then go on a binge....like I did yesterday, so not weighing myself today, lol.

But lately I'm trying to walk at least an hour, 6 days a week. Every morning I have a Rockstar energy drink. That has really helped, I think the vit B and taurine, two things I don't get as a vegetarian, more so than the caffine. I'm trying to snack on pumpkin seeds, or veggies, but I had a tuff couple of days and I reach for food...my addiction. It is a really hard one to break, and why I go up and down within a 3lb range.

I don't know if any of you are like me, but I'm a carb addict, and it reacts just like alcohol does to an alcoholic, once I eat some I want a LOT more. That is my biggest obstacle to dieting, I have to cut the carbs from everything but whole grains and veggies, or I set myself up to binge. I had a really rough day on Sunday, and I reached for food, and that is so hard to stop. I'm working on it, I'm glad there are others though by your up and down weight that struggle with eating too much too.

for years i did dieting counting the calories, now i do only low carb thing, still there are some issues with that, like the cholesterol thing (beats me how to write that in english, i just writed the word in dutch) and even you can drink alcohol low carb, still alcohol will keep pulling water from your body, if i drink diet coke with a low carb diet, i wont go to the toilet to pee as much when i drink just water, so a low carb diet does have issues and you have to watch them all, still with a low carb diet its handy you can switch to food you realy love or like,with calorie diet you cant, my food for day 3 will be for lunch a big piece of cheese, a boiled egg and a carrot, now boiled egg has no carb, if you have the right cheese it will have no carb too, only the carrot has a little carb thing say like 0.4gr, you have to eat the carrot because carrots will lower your cholersterol,also tomatoes do the same thing, so i get for calories about 450 inside my body, only for lunch, but for carb i get nothing, and you need the carbs for energy, so with a low carb diet and moving your butt, the kilos will fly away:D
And because i am still a bit upset about my grandma, i am moving my butt all day, i maybe sit on my fat ass one hour a day.......i have to get rid off my .........name it bad energy and then this is the right time to loose some weight and energy and i am painting and redecorating my ass off:D

Yeah, wiki's photo is really disgusting - I didn't now how they produce it so when I saw it I was a bit surprised too :) Obviously you don't have these grainss in your kefir

It tastes quite like a natural yoghurt but has a consistency of liquid so you can easily drink it. Depending on manufacturer its more or less sauer

I forgot to bring my camera up with me & seeing as the last time I slept a day I gained 3 pounds I really see no need to put myself thru the process.

I did work out today & aside from the rash I have from my fat thighs rubbing together, I feel fucking GREAT |thumb

When I was REAL overweight last year that happened from walking. I had to quit for a few days and use diaper rash ointment. I smelled like a newborn :D

I think there must be some gum on the inside of the scale dial.
It just sticks at 210 no matter what.

Of course it does go back down to zero.
And I guess it could stop before it got to the gum.

Okay, fine, so it's 210, mark me down for it.

I've gained back a pound and a half, binge eating yesterday, I'm too depressed about it to post a pic. I've had a rough week emotionally, and this is what happens. :( Still walking, but my diet is sucking. I'm 178.5.

I get this on my thighs sometimes, and under one arm, I wear tank tops when I walk, and my arm rubs on the seam.

I'll have to try Licker's cure.

You are all heroes.. when the fall is at the corner, under the northern hemishpere, the genes command us store more fat and weight for the winter so losing weight is much harder than in spring.

I do feel kind of good. It appears that I lost about 5% of my body weight. The thing is, about 5 months ago, I was very close to 240 instead of my starting weight of 205 that is on the chart. I did lose about 50 pounds after my wife died. But never did I think I could keep it off. :) And all I had to do was to start eating like a normal person instead of a pig. :)

My lightest as an adult was 165 about 22 years ago. I remember looking in the mirror thinking I was still fat. I believe I may have had a problem with a little obsession back then. :)

I meant my lightest in the contest, lol. my lightest as an adult was 110, and I looked like a famine victim, lol. I was working a job that was hard physical labor, ate like a pig, and couldn't keep weight on. Ahh the good ole days. I just want to get back to about 140 - 145, where I look the best.

Today's pic. I'm bummed, the cradle for our camera doesn't seem to work anymore. :( Had to upload with the laptop, which has a slot for the card. I'm going to have to order a new charger for the battery. Bummer, I like just being able to dock the camera and upload that way, but i can't seem to find a replacement on line. Geeze it is only a year or so old, and already outdated.
