Subject: Urgent from PieCash

Hi there,

PieCash is working on an overhaul, we need everyone to stop sending traffic asap.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Cheers,
The PieCash Team

That's the funniest thing I have EVER heard!!!!

Useless 2005-05-26 10:56 AM

I suppose it's time to just turn off the traffic flow then. You can just flip a switch or hit a button to do that, right?

Torn Rose 2005-05-26 10:57 AM

nice... I had just joined them a few days ago.

I blame Greenguy.....

cd34 2005-05-26 11:00 AM

I'd check the headers, but, I feel its probably a competitor that wants to dash the competition.

Just wait until you get the next email from Piecash suggesting affiliates send traffic to another program.

This was posted in the WM area a few days ago:

May 19 - PieCash sites will be down for the next few days for maintainence, please stop sending traffic until further notice. If you have any questions please contact webmaster@piecash.com.

By the time I saw it the sites were back up. And they're still up now.

Qon 2005-05-26 11:17 AM

Cleo 2005-05-26 11:17 AM

Where is that easy button when you need it?

axzar 2005-05-26 03:03 PM

grzepa 2005-05-26 03:16 PM

webgurl 2005-05-26 03:45 PM

That must be a joke , or some kind of fake email .

latinafind 2005-05-26 05:09 PM

I hope it isn't real :(

terry 2005-05-26 05:16 PM

Maybe it has something to do with 2257?

Linkster 2005-05-31 03:52 PM

JohnH - it wasnt a fake - they said exactly the same thing in their affiliates area when you login :

HC-Majick 2005-06-02 08:35 PM

new update in the webmaster area.

"I know you are all wondering what has been going on the last few weeks and how this affects you. Here is the deal. The FTC has filed a complaint for violations of the Can Spam Act. We are working w/ our lawyers to get all funds unfrozen and get everything back to normal......."

Greenguy 2005-06-02 08:48 PM

UGH! That's not good :(

LB 2005-06-02 09:12 PM

Lots of sponsor programs going under lately. :(

Useless 2005-06-02 09:32 PM

They better have really deep pockets if they plan on surviving that one. Really, really deep. I mean, if they can't reach in and grab the Titantic, they're doomed.

|skyfall|

RawAlex 2005-06-02 11:58 PM

I wish this was "more public"... programs gotta see what happens when they support spam.

I wish these guys luck, but honestly, they have the heaviest weight on their shoulders now.

Alex
