Petition For the Banning of Talleyrand
 

Perhaps I'm way off base here. Perhaps this is completely un-called-for and inappropriate. Perhaps I'm just an asshole. No, strike that, I'm DEFINITELY an asshole :D

I am hoping that perhaps the Year of the Banning will take requests. Perhaps a couple Talleyrand free weeks, perhaps a Talleyrand free remainder of my existence.

IMO, the simple fact is this: While I know and accept that "piss is good for a board" and in fact piss myself on a regular basis, it is my personal position that this fuckwad has gotten way out of hand.

I petition GG & Jim to ban the asshat, as perhaps it will shock some sense into him (eternal faith in the species blah, blah). More likely it will simply rid the board of him, which would be a lovely way to begin 2006.

The stupid cocksucking waste of flesh is a resources vampire. So many people have tried for so long to be helpful to him...wasting their time and energy on someone who just refuses to listen. And moreover goes out of his way to ask inane questions and get pissy when he doesn't get what he wants.

AYE - but does it really matter, most will just ignore him from now on, plus as much as I and most others know he is a big asshole and a possible resurfaced cheat or spammer, but with no proof...

I hate to see anyone get banned from anything but ethics are ethics..
plus he already lost a lot here lately... maybe a temp ban and a perm ignore..

I'm not a fan of banning, but........
The problem is that this is a serious business forum for most. The advice given out, the FREE advice, is good, quick, and extremely helpful. It's a goldmine for both newbies and experienced webmasters.
The Talleyrand thing has been entertaining, amusing, and certainly frustrating for those that have tried to be patient with him, but the time expended on him is wasted time.
For anyone serious about their business wasted time is wasted money.
I am one of the most patient people you could imagine but I still need to learn and Talleyrand eats away at my learning time.

Also, I would hate to think that someone like Talleyrand could frustrate an experienced advice-giver into thinking twice about offering advice in the future. That would be extremely bad.

I just went through and read most of his posts. It wasn't fun. Next time there is an asshole posting nothing but bullshit, click the report a post link.

I ignored most of his posts so that would have gotten him banned a lot sooner :)

I wouldn't worry too much about that Gary. Most of the community members here are quite cognizant of the symbiotic nature of free sites/link lists. I don't think you'll see any backlash due to these events. Most of us actually like helping others...after all, we want quality sites for our lists. It's in our best interests to help good free site builders flourish |thumb
