Happy Game 7 Thursday!

Morning All |waves|

I worked on my stats for most of yesterday & I might actually have them done today, but if not, tomorrow for sure. My goal is to for you to have something to read on the shitter over the weekend |thumb

Sabres/Hurricanes Game 7 is tonight at 7:30 & I'm nervous, but confident. I just hope it's not another 1 goal game where I'm turning my fingernails into bloody stumps for the 3rd period.

Oh yeah - ignore the name change - I'm still the same loveable ass :D

I didn't even notice until you said it. I was expecting 'Sabres Fan' or 'The Green Horny'.

I went to bed at 9PM last night, so I've been up since fucking 5AM. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I've been working up at lovely and scenic Bolton Landing the last few days, but I'm doing my rain dance as we speak, because there's a ton of shit I really, really, really, really, really need to get done here. If it rains - I get to stay home. (Though the thunderstorms will probably knock me off line and kill my plans anyway.)

Pray for rain, cocksuckers. Pray for rain.

I feel like doing as little as possible today and somehow I think I'm going to make that goal :D

Have a nice day all.

Wow, Greenie, you mean I'm not the only one who takes his notebook computer into the bathroom with me? |shocking|

UW, I hope you get lots of rain with no lightning or thunder... that way you'll only have yourself to blame. :D

Excellent day to all |thumb

Should prove to be a good game.

Sabres deserve it but something tells me they will get robbed somehow.
Anyway, good luck to them and go Leafs go. :)

Morning! Yep it's the first day of hurricane season here we go again! My closet in my office is full of canned goods, water, flashlights, candles and a shit load of batteries. We also bought a small window unit so we can a least have one room cool if needed. I thank Cleo for that idea |thumb Lowes has tax free generators on sale, we have one but need to another to run the ac. Cleo what size generator do you use to run your ac?

Have a great day all!

MrYum 2006-06-01 10:52 AM

Mine is only 5500 watts but that is enough to run a one room portable A/C plus the microwave, some ceiling fans, most of the lights in my house, one element of my stove, computers and modems, phones, garage door, TVs, satellite dish, and a few other small things. If I want to heat hot water I have to turn off the A/C but water stays hot for a few days or until you use it. The advantage of running a smaller generator is it uses less fuel. Mine uses 10 gallons of gasoline each 24 hours so my 182.5 gallons of gas that I have stored will keep me powered for 18 days.

My rich neighbor put in a huge 24 Kwh generator that will run some of his central A/Cs plus just about everything in his house but his 250 gallon propane underground tank will only run it for 2.5 days and then he has to pray that he can get another propane delivery.

After the last two hurricanes there was no problems in buying generators and one room A/C units at the local Home Depot so if we got hit bad again this year during a hot time of year I might pickup another one room A/C and a small generator to run it just to cool an extra room of my house as long as fuel didn't become a problem so that I didn't have to live in my bedroom again.

I do have both a cable modem and a ADSL line for internet so hopefully at least one will stay working again after a storm.

Thanks for the info Cleo! The one we have is only 2800 but this area has never been hit (yet) We thought we could use that one for the ac. Then buy another one for the fridge, lights and tv etc. We are looking at a 4500 so guess that would do it then. Yeah I saw the pics. of your gas supply looks like your all set |thumb
