Anyway, I had a very productive day yesterday and I plan to have another one today. Although with these tropical temperatures and no airco, only a few fans, it's going to be a sweaty day behind the desk :)

Happy fourth of July again. I know it is suppose to only come once a year but for some odd reason I thought yesterday was the fourth so today is the second forth of July for me this year.

Not really anything planned for today other then some errands and working.

I was helping a friend with her Dell laptop last night putting a WiFi dongle on it. Everything went well until I surfed some pages on it and saw that none of them have background images or colors, just white for backgrounds. Threw Firefox on it but same thing in Firefox. Looked through all the setting but never did figure out what was wrong but I'm really not all that good with PCs. Anyone have any ideas?

It did seem like the last two days were the holiday already, so today's an extra one.

I think I'll take a cue docholly and stop by the BBQ place and buy dinner rather than go to all the mess myself.

The country club at the edge of the development has the largest fireworks show on this side of Houston, so all I need to do is go out on the pool deck in the back yard. Not sure I'll bother though, as I'm not real fond of being mosquito food.

Other than that, just the usual porn slingin'.

Morning all - tour de france, world cup, nathans hot dog eating... lot's of stuff going on today.
One of our dogs is scared to death of fireworks, so I sent the boys out to the cabin with their older brother. I'll stay in tonight with the dog.

So last night I took the dog out for his last piss of the night and I found a little black and red stripped snake and caught it to show the little lady. There's still some kid left in me and I wanted to keep the little critter for a day or two before I let it go and I put it in an empty fish bowl. Now the wife isn't real keen on my decission to adopt the snake for a day or two and she was bugging the hell out of me when I was trying to go to sleep last night, she's was worried about it getting out of the fish bowl and I'm telling her to stop worrying about it the snakes only about 7 inches long and the fish bowl is a good 9 inches tall so it would be imposible for it to get lose.
Arround five this morning she wakes me up screeching "the snakes gone" how was I supposed to know that little fucker could jump.
She's been tip toeing around and bugging the hell out of me all morning, she wants everything moved outside furniture, appliances, clothes everything and the snake found.
I say fuck it one of three things will happen.
1, the snake will find his way outside
2, one of us will spot it and I'll catch it then
3, it will die and start stinking and I'll track it down with my nose
